God is spirit and is not subject to time.

So how can he do anything?

We cannot understand anything about God because God exists far beyond the dimension of space time.

Really? Isn’t that sort of the point of the Bible?

God is love and that we can know.

So you CAN understand something about him.

Well, sorry, it’s not. It has shadows on it, which is a pretty obvious tell.

Is it possible that the moon emitted light of itself at some point in time?

Because he creates and destroys space time, He owns this universe and we a mere spectators.

The point of the Bible is the Christ Himself, it's all about Him.
So you CAN understand something about him.
Not really, God is a divine entity and the definition that the scripture provides far surpasses what we can imagine.

He loves us but that is a divine love apparently without condition or limit. If you can comprehend the eternal, then you can understand something about God, I can't.

does research

looks at a number of sites

Huh. All I can find is 10-12 billion. I don't see the 14 billion anywhere.
The oldest stars we've found in the Universe are nearly pristine, where almost 100% of what makes them up is the hydrogen and helium left over from the Big Bang. They come in at over 13 billion years old, with the oldest at 14.5 billion. And this is a big problem, because the Universe itself is only 13.8 billion years old.

Great minds think alike, eh? ;)
The solar system and, by extension, the universe could have been geocentric @ one time, with the moon emitting light.

This would, of course, allow for a literal interpretation of Joshua 10.

Well, I managed to find it:

The key here is HD140283, also called the Methuselah Star.

Interesting stuff. I'll have to read more.
