I hear a lot of Christians claim this but I seriously doubt most of them.
Why were you an atheist? What religion did your parents have?
And remember that atheism and evolution are different subjects.
Why do you pick and choose which parts of the Bible to believe? No Christian that I know of believes the whole Bible. I am wondering why you believe the Earth is spherical and yet you don't accept the theory of evolution?
I believe that 15 billion years passed before the first day of creation. After that the earth was created in six days as in the Genesis account. Therefore the world is only about 6,300 years old.
One is based on observations in the here and now. The other is based on assumptions and fantasy about past events that can't be observed or repeated. It's not hard to tell which is operational science and which is historical science that has a lot of speculation thrown in.
Even though they have nothing to do with each other isn't there an awful lot of atheists who are evolutionists or evolutionists who are atheists. Don't they go hand in hand in some ways.Indeed. Evolution has absolutely nothing to do with my atheism. If I became convinced of God, it would merely mean that I would be convinced that both are true.
The majority, I think they are mainly Catholics aren't they. I have always wondered about this. There are a couple of different views of evolution within this as well. Some believe God started evolution by planting the seed of life which I guess was the chemicals to make life or maybe even put it all together as a bacteria to give it a little kick start. But they never state what that exactly is. I personally think its a Clayton's belief in evolution because they cant handle creation. They think its easier to believe that than try to prove God created us and the universe in completeness. It is also true, that the majority of Christians agree with the TOE.
Well... Goodluck on all of that guys. I think the whole evolution thing is a lie from satan himself and he finds humour in the deception.
It is also true, that the majority of Christians agree with the TOE.
That would require Satan to rewrite the genome of every species to make it look like they share a common ancestor and evolved from a common ancestor.

And how is any form of evolution "godless"? Most Christians accept the form of evolution where man shares a common ancestor with other apes. Since that is evolution. Most Christians accept the form of evolution where Man shares a common ancestor with all mammals since that is evolution. No Christian embraces the Godless form of evolution.

Some believe that God also intervened along the way and injected a boost into evolution. Things may have evolved to a point but then God came along and still created man. Some believe that God started everything with the ingredients for the big bang. But none of them really explain what they mean and to me its like having the best of both worlds because they cant handle standing firm on either one or they cant stand firm on God alone and have let the naturalistic world view seep into their beliefs.
So its hard to really say they are fair dinkum evolutionists. It just seems contradictory to believe in both at the same time. Well the Darwinist view anyway where everything is self creating in a natural world. Thats why I say that evolutionists and atheists are connected in some ways because most dont see the need for a God. If you look at one of the greatest biologists and evolutionists Richard Dawkins he is almost becoming one of the greatest atheists as well lately. He is joining up with Lawrence Krauss and they are both going around promoting that there in no need for God. But many Christians believe in a form of evolution which is a variation that can occur within a creatures existing genetics. That may have great capacity for varying creatures even to the point of looking like it creates new kinds of creatures. But still they believe that God created the major kinds of life including us. Its worth noting as well that Dawkins once said that evolution gives the impression of mimicking creations.
No more evidence than you have.
No Christian embraces the Godless form of evolution.
Common building blocks used by God.

Once again, what is the "Godless form of evolution"?
They embrace it as much as they embrace Godless gravity, Godless chemistry, Godless thermodynamics, Godless infectious diseases, etc.
Why would using common building blocks form a nested hierarchy? Engineers use common building blocks to design cars, and cars do not fall into a nested hierarchy.
