I'm asking you to specifically name promises of God to those you mentioned.

I'm not sure I could compile a comprehensive list in a short period of time.

However, God never promises that everybody who believes will have a long life or that they won't suffer, say with the loss of a loved one, even a husband or wife. You are twisting that passage in Acts into knots. I dont' even accept Acts as scripture but you are molesting the text.

I recall hearing awhile ago that one of the reasons roughly 1/3-1/2 of Jews are atheist is due to God failing to fulfill his promise and protect the Jews during the Holocaust. I could be wrong on how I understood that, but I think that did play a part.

It is impossible for God to lie. Don't blame Him. Unbelief is a real killer.

you realize God in the OT abandoned and exiled the Jews many times due to their sin and idolatry against Him..Wasn't Nineveh the only city that truly repented and thus God protected??

You are saying that my family was not saved because my mother did not have enough faith are you not? That is a false accusation of my mother. She had plenty of faith. The minister that counselled my family used the same scriptures you have and explained things in the exact same way.
