You'll have to blame Jesus. I got it from Him.Look what your sickening theology hath wrought....
Like having them beaten to death sooner rather than later so they'll have to endure it less?God saved his family because he believed God's promise. Quite simple. And there are many more promises for Christians. Promises for EVERY problem a Christian will encounter.
No, like this:Like having them beaten to death sooner rather than later so they'll have to endure it less?
No, like this:
Hebrews 13:6 (NKJV)
6 So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
The BIG problem is that Satan has established MUCH of today's religious systems. He has stolen faith in God's promises from Christians. Satan has many of his ministers in the churches today teaching unbelief instead of faith.Great question Ducky.
Apparently in 2009, an estimated 1,318,398 violent crimes occurred nationwide, a decrease of 5.3 percent from the 2008 estimate according to the FBI.

NahActually, any semi educated (in the fields of biology and psychology) can do a whole lot to you, and if you are a parent, they can do even more to your children. Let us put it this way, it can be a whole lot worse than what happened to Job.
Psalm 23:6 (NKJV)
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life;
And what?and?
They were chosen vessels who were told of the special suffering they would have.Do you think the apostles were thinking this as they were martyred? Do you think they were put on the cross upside down or stoned because their faith wasn't great enough? Or what about Paul who was imprisoned? These guys had tremendous faith, yet they suffered many hardships.
Because that's essentially what you're telling people...if they have hardships in life it's because their faith isn't strong enough.
Are you and Apostle? Nah.But we know that is hogwash. We know that God uses hardship to STRENGTHEN our faith and to lift us up:
Mark 11:24 (KJV)So let's not fool anyone here...Christians are not going to have easy lives simply because we are Christians. We do, however, have eternal life to look forward to, thanks to Jesus' death on the cross and God's love and mercy for us. Don't ever lose track of that.
Not the same. Not the authority.actually, yes, I am an apostle. All Christians are. All Christians are given the command to go and spread the good news.
I'm not bitter. I'm not obsessed with anything other than pleasing God.I've received what I've prayed for. I have a beautiful family, a wonderful church, a good life. I don't know why you have to be so bitter about that, Duck, and why you have this need to prove that I don't have a good life or that I'm not blessed.
I hope you can get over that obsession soon. God probably wants you focused on other things, like your own life, your own marriage, your own issues...
There is a BIG difference between divorcing as an unsaved and divorcing as a Christian. There is no valid excuse for Christians to divorce. I'm glad you're doing well.I was married before I was saved and divorced. I remarried again before I was saved to a wonderful man and we are now both born again.
I know quite a few true Christians who are divorced and now are in Godly marriages. God's ways are higher then our ways. We should not judge or condemns, but walk our walk the way God instructs us to.

I've been falsely accused of that here several times, but I never have and never will advise such. But there's a HUGE difference between separation and divorce.Hopefully, you would never tell a woman to stay in an abusive relationship.

Divorce is Satan's deception that leads to adultery.IN this nation alegal divorce is neccessary before a judge to get child custody, child support. It also prevents the man from returning it can prevent him from taking the womans money and possessions. Just as a marriage license is required, so is a divorce to offically end a marriage in the states eyes.
I also do not beleive that God "unsaves" anyone. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit, is our down paymnet, our guarantee of haven. Even if a woman divorces, she is not going to be ever divorced from God.
