Is is just me, or is it usually men that say this?
And with the lowered moral of today's society most parents don't teach their daughters on how to even be proper wives and how they should act, dress, and behave towards their husbands(and visa versa). A young woman does not have the experience and wisdom to choose the right man as a husband and she needs the wisdom from her parents on choosing a right spouse.
If parents refuse to teach their daughters on the sanctity of marriage, proper morals, modesty, and guiding them correctly with their wisdom and authority how do you expect them to be able to have the tools to discern a good potential husband from a bad one??
again, understand that what people are saying is that you can leave your spouse, no doubt about it. But you're confined to being single and lonely for the rest of your life. No more close loving relationships, no more of the rights that a marriage provides for you. You don't get to have any children (or more children). You are punished for the sin of your spouse.
Like I said, false false false.
How does making things up prove your point? I've always said the abused should leave unless they have very good reason not to. But that doesn't mean divorce is necessary.
Sure there is. Believe God's promises. I.E.Didja know that if one party wants a divorce there's not a single thing te other party can do about it?
God gave us His promises to take care of us in EVERY way. He didn't forsake us in any way, especially one of the most important aspects of our lives, marriage. MANY in the churches have no idea what God has promised us.Sometimes divorce isn't even a choice of one party but there's literally nothing they can do to stop it.
But according to ou one is committing Satan authorized divorces though they actually could be taking absolutely no actions at all.
I believe God. I suggest that you find out what He has promised us. He is faithful to we who believe Him!!!You're a terrible advice giver; you suggest to women to continu with dangerous and unhealthy actions. You condone the very definition of insanity. You endorse women to go ahead and stay with a man who could potenially murder them and their children. what does the bible say about that? You say it's okay to abandon your spouse, but not legally divorce them to completely severe all ties?
That is insanity. Mentally defunt insanity.

Acts 16:31 (NKJV)
31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."

I'm wondering what you all think of my circumstances- please refer to my innumerable posts here at CF about having "unbiblically" filed for divorce because of unrepentant psychological abuse and neglect, ect. from my spouse.
I can't seem to discern (from the various things that have been said) whether I should have filed for the divorce or not, or if I'm destined to burn in Hell for my sin...you all just make even more frustrating for me, as if I'm not already so very ashamed for what I chose to do.

Quoting God's promises is not ranting. Do you consider John 3:16 an emotional rant?you misunderstand; I'm speaking if things relative o the subject. You're going on an emotionalistic rant.
You need to know that God changes hearts. He doesn't leave us helpless. If I'm married, and suddenly wife wants a divorce, files for it, and I refuse to sign the divorce papers, a judge will do it on my behalf, finalizing and legaliIn the divorce. Even if one party refuses to take part, it doesn't matter, it's going to happen anyway.
Only trying to help. God is faithful to His promises for we who believe them. Satan has stolen them from MANY!And you're free to believe in your interpretation while forsaking context or historical relevance; but please stop insinuating people are satan's lapdogs for leaving a spouse who could potentially take their life.
Never said that. Why did you?
Because you said there is still no reason for divorce. So what do you suggest a person does when stuck in a violent relationship other than leave. Especially when the violent party does not wish to seek help.
Faith has nothing to do with our intelligence. It has to do with believing God in spite of all contrary circumstances. God said He will save our families. Anything else is a lie from Satan. We have the choice to believe God or Satan. Satan has stolen God's Word from the hearts of MANY Christians.Yes, God is faithful to those who believe. That doesn't mean that people who divorce don't believe in Him. It doesn't mean that those who use their God-given brain aren't any less reliant on Him.
I believed when I got divorced, and I still believe. God has not deserted me. What God decides to do with my ex is between God and the ex. I have nothing to do with it.
