Disney World is a great place for couples to go without the kids. My wife and I have spent many a weekend there over the past few years. Out two kids are grown an dout of the house now. We typically spend about three to six weekends during the year there, usually staying on the park property hotels.

There are plenty of adult things to do in the four parks, from the rides, to the entertainment, to the restaurants. In addiiton, there is Pleasure Island in the evenings for adults that enjoy muisic and the bar scene.

Where would you suggest to go with no kids? What part of Disney World?

I went when I was a child & have been trying to get H & I to go. We don't live too too far away.

Well, in terms of hotels to stay at: the Grand Floridian is more suited to adults, but you have to have all kinds of money to afford to stay there.

In terms of restaurants, just about any of the World Showcase restaurants in Epcot are going to appeal to adults moreso than kids. Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian also comes to min, and the Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney-MGM Studios. Just about anything you can do at Pleasure Island is more for adults than for kids.

The Grand Floridian is the most expensive hotel on the WDW property. AThe moderately priced hotels are fine for two adults. These are Port Orleans, Carribean Beach, and Coronado SPrings. They run about $150 pernight. The low priced hotels on property are the All SPorts and All Music.

The places to eat run all prices and types of food. If you want the top, then Victoria & Alberts is great. But all through EPCOT you can find places to eat specializing in the types of food for the various countries, in addiiton, there are the places to eat in the various future world areas of EPCOT. In Downtown Disney you have Planet Hollywood and The Rainforest Cafe to name just a few. Each hotel has both a top restaurant and food courts or lower cost family oriented places to eat.
