As I live my life in obedience to Jesus Christ, I don't have to be anything to tell you what God says about it.

I haven't committed adultery either, but I can sure tell you what God says about it.

At issue here is your hardened heart and unwant to listen to what God's Word says. That in part is why you don't accept certain parts as true.

I'd rather have good morality taught. Not that this has anything to do with the original topic. As I posted, the act calls for EQUAL TREATMENT. All the other emotional wording was MADE UP by right wing homophobes trying to gain support for their hatred of homosexuals.

What you'd rather have is morality taught as YOU think it should apply and not as GOD SAYS it should.

further, to imply that I want immorality taught is not kosher.

We have a similar act in our country, it's my belief that our constitution in SA is one of the best in the world. Gay marriage is legalised here too. Whether some feel that it is sinful, most do not. For certain groups of people to post emotionally laden fear factor comments in order to unsettle the uninformed, that is also not kosher.

It's a common propoganda technique, with which many people still fall for. Equal rights for all,. Condemn the bullying in schools.

Further, the act is not only concentrating on homosexuals, but also on the disabled, the handicapped, and various race groups.

I don't teach my children to hate ANYONE, and how dare you try to twist my words to say such. You are prejudice against anyone who doesn't believe what you do. I try to be respectful to everyone here, and I believe even my tone on this forum reflects the type of parenting that I do.

Assume that anyone who doesn't think like you is guided by hate, but keep it to yourself. I didn't do anything to provoke you to respond to my post like that. I have to agree with you on this, I did read it over briefly and it seems like the act itself is not the issue, but the possible (worst) scenarios that may come out of it. That of which is unfair to speculate on with such a bias.

Regardless whether the article says it or not, it is unethical to ban the words "mom" and "dad" in schools.
I personally have not read over the entire article, but I posted it in this forum so everyone could discuss it.
