CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father, please bless Jesaiah, who is depressed and discouraged at the moment. Guide him to people who may help, to pastors, people in the church, professionals or counsellors, or friends who might be able to help him find solutions to his problems. Send him consolation in his difficulties and help them ease.
This I ask in the name of your son, Jesus Christ, Amen

We ask thy blessings upon Jesaiah. Give him some victories in his life to celebrate. Fill him with thy joy and comfort. Remind him constantly that You are with him and that You Love him more than he can comprehend. Lift him up through the indwelling of Your HOLY SPIRIT and guide him to those who need his companionship, that he might be a blessing unto them and that in so doing he also will be blessed. Open his eyes to the many things that he has to be grateful & joyful for.

Father, please show Jesaiah where to find people who will show him Your love and power.
Lead him to trustworthy pray-ers, and give him courage to take a chance and ask them for help.
Motivate someone through Your Spirit to ask him how he's doing and give encouragement.
Most of all help him to hear from You personally, in some definite way to assure him that You are with him even when he feels alone.
I know how hard it is to feel isolated and have nobody to pray for you, so I pray you will find that support soon. Don't give up hope.

Father God,
We praise you and thank you for bringing us together in prayer for this hurting young brother. You know his pain and his anguish. We ask you now Lord to drive away whatever may be causing this depression and replace it with your Peace. We pray that Jesaiah will seek the help he needs from Godly and qualified people and that (most importantly) that he will hit his knees and seek his peace and help from you. Help him to stand on faith in you and not feelings. Help him to seek your face and to reach out to you. Its in the precious name of Jesus we pray. Amen
