Creationists are so used to being dishonest with themselves - persuading themselves that evolution is false in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary - that it's a million times easier for them to be dishonest with everyone else in order to maintain their delusions and self-imposed ignorance.

I met this guy, Chinese actually, a Christian. I made the mistake of talking creo-evo with him and after a bit i found out that he believed everything he said came direct from god who was speaking thru him, so....whatever he said was True. And me? he said all my words came direct from Satan, who was speaking thru me.

Made me wonder what they need us for.

But now I know why creationists dont think they are dishonest no matter what, and will report you to the mods if you say they are.

You had a conversation with a Chinese false prophet who insulted you, and now you say you know why creationists don't think they are dishonest?

1. If you would have known your Bible, you would have recognized this guy as a false prophet and not carried on a conversation with him.

You still have not even a shred of an idea at what the terms 'fact' and 'theory' mean in a scientific context. The hard evidence we have shows the fact that chimpanzees and us share a common ancestor. The 'theory' part explains how that happened.

If the theory is falsified, another theory can be formed based on those same facts.
