  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I was thinking that NOah took a lot of dinosaur eggs on board the Ark. However Nimrod the so called Great Hunter attack and destroy many after so many years .Also it could be possible that they couldn't survive the world that was changed after the Flood was over and they died out. It is also possibel that a few still exist aka THE LOCK NESS MONSTER. We will only know after THE LORD comes and we search out the HEAVINLY LIBRARY. It is also possible and maybe proable that THE LORD will recreate the Dinosaurs in the Millieum Kingdom.

good point - you've given me something to "ruminate" on. Madly doing research....

Cool. Research is good, just watch your sources. The bible is free from religious error and on matters pertaining to salvation, but not free from historical and scientific error, as my example pointed out.

ok - here is what appears to be a scientific answer on a Christian site about the rabbit "chewing his cud"

www.tektonics.org/af/cudchewers.html

Refection is a similar process, but not the same. The point was that the verse was innaccurate.

I believe the verse is accurate, in accordance with the original Hebrew meanings of the words in the verse you quoted. One of the main rules in interpreting documents is "What would the original hearers have understood it to say?" Anyway, not trying to debate, just my opinion.

Splitting hares...

Strong's definition doesn't even verify that this was a rabbit. The translation from Hebrew is a reasonable guess.

Strong's Number: 768 tbnr)

1. hare
1. probably an extinct animal because no known hare chews its cud, exact meaning is unknown, and best left untranslated as "arnebeth"

It did not, as other people have pointed out. The Bible is free from historical and scientific error (well, sometimes the version is bad when it comes to this (ie the issue of chariots versus charioteers and how many Solomon (I believe it was Solomon) had)), but the Bible is trustworthy, even historically and scientifically (ie, secular science knew nothing of the enormous Hittite empire and scoffed the Bible for mentioning it, and then they dug it up. And secular science would, even up to a few hundred years ago, bleed sick patients to rid them of diseases while the Bible says that your very life lies in your blood)).
