Each color shade of every letter represents a micro alteration of the color of the letter immediatly before it. And this micro-change is past on to the next letter, which comes with its own micro alteration added to it.
It's a gradual accumulation of color changes.
The analogy only shows how gradualism works, what the result is of the gradual accumulation of small changes. And that result is that at no point did "red" turn into "blue".
Instead, there's a smooth transition from red to blue. So smooth, that it is actually rather impossible to pinpoint a single word where you can say "now THIS is the first blue word".

Besides, without naming each color gradient as either quantum particles, or cells, or animals, you show nothing. What could I, a beginner biological scientist get out of a bunch of color gradients? Or from observing how the French Language evolved?
