I used to assume there was dinos in the ark.

I now lean to land dinos being not on the ark, but am not sure. I think the reason many try to get them in the ark is flood geology, where too much credit is given to the effects of the flood.

If they weren't on the Ark, then you need to concede that Noah failed the task given to him by God.

[BIBLE]Genesis 7:2[/BIBLE]

Any particular reason that dinos don't count?

Genesis 7:2Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

What if they were extinct as far as land dinos by then?

There were three arks. The one with the maruspials went to Australia and the one with dinosaurs sank.

But it seems there may not have been dinos at the time, land dinos that is. I already explained a possibility for the marupials before. The split of the continents, and in the pre split world, so the heat was a piece of cake.
There is always hyper evolution, which could be a factor, but maybe not, depends if there is a history of marsupials pre flood in the same area.

You didn't explain anything with your dad hoc irrationalization.

The split of the continents, and in the pre split world, so the heat was a piece of cake.
No the heat would have baked the earth like a cake, a very badly burned cake.

Another irrationalization courtesy of dad the absurd.

Did to.

It wasn't a PO oven. In a merged world, it is different. Very different, which is why assuming sameness as you do gives such wonky answers!
The merged world allows a water layer above the earth, material from earth reaching space, water from the flood being taken off earth via space, hyper evolution, continental movements, and other things that make the flood very real, and the PO past very fake.

Here is a post that really summarizes how far dad's desperate fantasies have taken him from reality.

Then again I still think he may just be kidding us and doing a great job of making YEC look really, really stupid.

I was wondering how long it would take you to ramble off into your disjointed blather about a Merged Universe where the rules are written in pencil -- and where you hold the eraser.

There is no evidence for an ark and no evidence that there was a global flood. This post is pointless.

There is really is no point in trying to argue with dad. He lives in his own fantasy world and just makes up whatever nonsense he needs on the spot to irrationalize away all those inconvenient facts that falsify his wierd fantasies.

It comes in handy when they bring up the imaginary Po past, and it's silly gloom and doom they love to preach.

Trumping your outdated PO fantasies is not something you like done, I know. But you are powerless to do anything about it! You are no match for someone with two legs to stand on.

What makes you think that Dino's weren't in the ark? The Bible never said the animals that were taken were full-grown animals, and it is easy for an animal to become extinct.
