Digimon: Data Squad

I've been a fan of the Digimon series for a while, but there haven't been any new episodes for about 5 years. Now there is a new series called Digimon: Data Squad. At first I was unsure about it, I'm one of those "Adventure and Adventure 02 were the best seasons!" people. However, I really find myself loving this season! My favorite character is Marcus (or Masaru if you happen to watch the subbed Savers.) I really like his character...sure he's obnoxious but he's entertaining anyway.

So have any of you watched it? If so, what do you think?

I've always been a Digimon person, but just for the record I'm not one of those Pokemon haters either. I could never get into the show, but the Game Boy games were/are very addicting.

I've seen that picture before, it's amazing! Thanks for the vid. of the Japanese themes! I really like Butter-fly (season 1) and Gouing! Gouing! MySoul! (Savers)

I watched the first episode awhile ago. The part where the girl (I don't know her name) was trying to apprehend Agumon annoyed me greatly. She seems to be a Data Squad cop person or whatever so she should be well trained and good at her job, yet, when Marcus tells her to back off she says something along the lines of "Yes!" Why would she listen to him? She has a job to do and she's suddenly taking orders from a 14 year old? That was pitiful. And, based off of what I've read on Wiki, she's the only girl on the show. I saw enough sexism in the fourth/Frontier season. I don't want to watch that all over again in the fifth. My view of the show may be wrong, but this is the impression that I got from it.

I've seen some of the Savers episodes. I think it's cool. It's taking forever for them to make it to America, though. I think Marcus's meeting with his digimon is so awsome! I even have some pics!
