Difficulty letting go

Hello brothers and sisters!
I would like to request a prayer regarding a situation between me and a fellow believer.
I have known my dear friend for 11 years and we’ve had many ups and downs together. I feel the Lord calling me to let this person go, and to break a cycle of leaving and re-entering each other’s lives. The thought of letting go and stopping all contact brings me great grief but I know it is for the best, as we are not healthy for each other (huge history of drug use and trauma that I will not go into here).

Any prayers and encouragement is so appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read. ❤️

Gracious Heavenly Father,
I pray for Your strength for misspertinent as You are calling her to walk through a season of sorrow and grief. Help her to do what needs to be done, and to mourn the loss of a fellow believer and friend. Help her also to find new company in Your church who will support the life she wants to live, so that she may not be alone.
