Difficult Christian marriages.

How does a spouse handle incessant loneliness, and being totally starved of hands on relational care, and affection in their new marriage, where no friendship growth is being permitted by the other spouse?

*hugs* i'd say pray! Then keep fixing your eyes on God, delight in Him and He'll give you the desires of your heart. People might disappoint and love can ebb and flow but His is Love for you is infinite.

Sounds like a difficult cross to bear. God is in charge of your husbands attitude. Keep looking up..you could turn around any day and find him looking at you in a totally different way. I really hope and pray that happens for you.

Please could you pray for my dear husband's spiritual blindness, and complete bondage to his love of making music in his Mother's home for 25+ yrs? He is 47, like me. Both married for the first time, but my husband has never, ever left the house that he was born in. I spiritually discern that he is still in the darkness. He has confessed Faith, but in his head, he was doubtully reluctant. He did this one year before we wed. But has run away from me 31 times since we met, 8 years ago. We married in Church before God, and believing witnesses. He is disobeying our vowes, except in area of adultery, Praise God.

I'm no expert on relationships or marriage to be honest but i'll pray that God brings restoration to it and draws you closer together. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. If your husband is in the dark he'll be drawn towards the Light you have and seek God for himself again. I pray as you say for his eyes to be opened to the Love that God has for Him and His perfect Way.
