Differences Between Countries

Hi. I was wondering about some of the differences between Roman Catholic churches in different countries in the world. I've been to RC churches in Canada and the United States and noticed a few differences in minor stuff - like when people would kneel and that sort of thing. Also from reading about various issues (mainly on American forums) it seems that there are other differences between RC churches in Canada and the USA on such matters as officially accepted Bible versions and things like that. I guess what I'm wondering is whether these differences are of any importance and whether people from other countries have noticed differences in the church in various countries.

Ok, Canada for the most part is "suppose" to do the same as we are in the USA. All RC Churches follow the GIRM which says when and where to do what. Now in some countries there are difference, because certain postures mean different things. Like in one country they may not kneel at all, which seems highly odd, but in their "culture" it would be disrespectful, instead a bow is of respect. Other countries also do dancing in churches for holy occasions because it is very worshipful, we in the US are not permitted this because the direction dance has taken (sexual and unclean :-/) but because cultures in another country are different they can do it.

Those are few examples, hopefuly touced on what you wanted to know. Other than then simple things with posture, and music the mass should be entirely the same, if they take liberties with the mass, then they are most likely in disobedience to the magisterium.
