That's almost as bad as saying liberals reject the true definition of right and wrong
In your opinion.

That's almost as bad as saying liberals reject the true definition of right and wrong
and what "constraints" are those?
I thought we were talking about how someone could know for sure if God exists?
Much love in Christ, Not me
I talked as much as I will on this board as I can about that topic. Lets just say I have search and studied and found a lack of evidence for a personal God. I am not going to go into detail since it would be against the rules of this board. Needless to say, what you have said so far, I have heard before.
I am trying to bring our discussion back to the OP topic because that is your claim, that one should not deal with the other side. My counter is that dealing with all that are willing to deal on a solid basis of facts can get results. Your claim is that everything is Black and White, Good and Evil. My counter is that every issue has gray areas.
I tried to use a different real world example to get the ball rolling. And a gaming one just in case you do the RPGs.
I never said one should not deal with the other side.
Everything does fall into one of two categories, righteousness or unrighteousness.
As you said, you have tried to find God and failed to find Him. And you have also said you have heard what I said before.
Have you ever tried to “do” as I subjected? For those that “are willing to “do”, they shall “know”. For “only” those that are willing, shall know. Question is, are you willing and do you want to know?

I can rant all over this, but I am not going to. Been there, done that, over it.
You don't want to see your own blindness you are creating for yourself. So be it.
Not my monkeys, not my circus.

I think that the day Abortion were outlawed (or extremely limited) in american politics would be the day the Republican Party dies. Not because of some sort of revolution, but just because all the single-minded people who time and again hold their nose while voting for red got the thing they wanted. If you check the stats, abortions usually flatten out (they've been in decline for several years now) under GOP control and lower more dramatically under democrats.
The explanation is usually that democratic policies to prevent unwanted pregnancies and for support (food shelter etc) after a child is born in low income/volatile households are actually more effective at lowering the number of abortions than the GOP policies limiting those options.
If this is true; then voting democrat actually saves more children's lives even though their policy allows abortion, which I oppose vehemently.
Another consideration is this, and it's a consideration for me; I don't think that the GOP has any intention of actually ending abortion as long as it can be used to motivate a large portion of voters (jmho, ymmv). The GOP had an opportunity under W Bush, majorities in both legislative bodies and a friendly court and chose war in Iraq instead. The GOP has had a similar opportunity since Gorsach with Trump and majorities in both bodies - yet nothing has even been proposed.
like how it is right for each person to treat others with dignity and respect? The constraints that “right” puts
on the behavior of a individual.

like how it is right for each person to treat others with dignity and respect?
or like how it is right that no one should attack the liberty and legal protections of others?
thank you for sharing your opinionIn your opinion.

Are those your thoughts?

Question;
Should you compromise with evil? Would that not itself be evil?
Case in point; Should one compromise on abortion. Meaning that we should only kill half the children.

Oh good grief.....![]()
Curious, does this mean your in favor of killing half the children or all the children?
