The Didache Bible was released this year, and I am surprised there is not more buzz about it. I got mine this week, and it is a very good study Bible. For theological formation, the Navarre Bible is the best study Bible available. The challenge is carrying it around. The Navarre comes in a 10 volume set. If the Navarre Bible were condensed into one volume, it would look like the Didache Bible.
The Didache Bible is the RSV 2CE Ignatius Bible with commentary based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It has the same cross references as the Ignatius Bible. If you are in the market, be aware that the leather edition is not flexible leather, but a hardback with padding wrapped with green leather. If there were a large print version available, I would prefer it, but the print has enough white space between the lines that it seems easier on the eyes that my Scepter RSV CE with slightly larger print.
