We all know of the story of Jesus, but all these people are said to have come before Jesus.
The only logical explanation I can think of is that Satan is just as omniscient as God and he knew that Jesus would be born thousands of years in the future. So Satan helped other people make up these stories to discredit Jesus, (these are all false, so Jesus must too be false, is how an atheist would think), and God created the one and only true story Jesus. Someone gets this idea in their head to tell others about Hercules and pass it off as true and that idea really came from Satan even if they didn't know it. You can even research the gods from a library and know this stuff. Did you know the Epic of Gilgamesh came before Noah's flood? So other stories from the bible happened before they happened, though many Christians believe many stories from the bible are just stories to teach a lesson and the only story true for sure is the story of Jesus. What about other religions, did Satan help create them all to help confuse others?
  1. asklepios healed the sick, raised the dead, and was known as the savior and redeemer.
  2. hercules was born of a divine father and mortal mother and was known as the savior of the world.
  3. dionysus was literally the “Son of God”, was born of a woman who had not had sex with a man, and was depicted riding a donkey. He was a traveling teacher who performed miracles, and was killed and resurrected, after which time he became immortal.
  4. osiris did the same things. He was born of a virgin, was considered the first true king of the people, and when he died he rose from the grave and went to heaven.
  5. Osiris’s son, horus, was known as the “light of the world”, “The good shepherd”, and “the lamb”. He was also referred to as, “The way, the truth, and the life.” His symbol was a cross-like symbol.
  6. mithra‘s birthday was celebrated on the 25th of december, his birth was witnessed by local shepherds who brought him gifts, had 12 disciples, and when he was done on earth he had a final meal before going up to heaven. On judgment day he’ll return to pass judgment on the living and the dead. The good will go to heaven, and the evil will die in a giant fire. His holiday is on Sunday (he’s the Sun God). His followers called themselves “brothers”, and their leaders “fathers”. They had baptism and a meal ritual where symbolic flesh and blood were eaten. Heaven was in the sky, and hell was below with demons and sinners.
  7. krishna had a miraculous conception that wise men were able to come to because they were guided by a star. After he was born an area ruler tried to have him found and killed. His parents were warned by a divine messenger, however, and they escaped and was met by shepherds. The boy grew up to be the mediator between God and man.
  8. buddha‘s mother was told by an angel that she’d give birth to a holy child destined to be a savior. As a child he teaches the priests in his temple about religion while his parents look for him. He starts his religious career at roughly 30 years of age and is said to have spoken to 12 disciples on his deathbed. One of the disciples is his favorite, and another is a traitor. He and his disciples abstain from wealth and travel around speaking in parables and metaphors. He called himself “the son of man” and was referred to as, “prophet”, “master”, and “Lord”. He healed the sick, cured the blind and deaf, and he walked on water. One of his disciples tried to walk on water as well but sunk because his faith wasn’t strong enough.
  9. apollonius of tyana (a contemporary of Jesus) performed countless miracles (healing sick and crippled, restored sight, casted out demons, etc.) His birth was of a virgin, foretold by an angel. He knew scripture really well as a child. he was crucified, rose from the dead and appeared to his disciples to prove his power before going to heaven to sit at the right hand of the father. He was known as, “The Son of God”.

No, Satan cannot create anything.
Only God the One true creator can.

Satan is a liar, a cheat and a deceiver.

He is not omniscient only God is, and Satan's fall from heaven was due to the exact fact that he wanted to be God.Isaiah 12:12-15

Other religions may do Satan's work by deceiving people but that is all.

The evil one is more familiar with Scripture and the story that is told, and has been told from the beginning, about a Son of Man. Of course it will use the theme to further its own interests. The story resounds in the hearts of men after all.
The biggest deception is yet to come however, and before long we can expect a man to arise who will seem to be the very Messiah himself and he will be worshiped by most as God incarnate.

"The only logical explanation I can think of is that Satan is just as omniscient as God and he knew that Jesus would be born thousands of years in the future."

Only God is omniscient, omnipotent & omnipresent. Satan is a creature, a created angelic being, finite in time, space & matter.

Satan knew Jesus because Jesus was in the garden of Eden, Jesus created Satan. He most likely thought that WHEN Jesus appeared incarnate on earth, that if he got people to betray & kill Jesus, then he, having the power of death, would be able to control Jesus & render Him powerless in death.

He did not know that was his undoing!

I Cor 2:6ff Among the mature, however, we speak a message of wisdom—but not the wisdom of this age or of power of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of the mysterious & hidden wisdom of God, which He destined for our glory before time began. NONE of the rulers of this age UNDERSTOOD it. For if they had, they would NOT have crucified the Lord of glory.

Ephesians 6:10-12 Finally, be strong in the Lord & in the strength of His might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against the principalities (authorities), against the powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Colossians 2:14ff When you were dead in your trespasses & in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our trespasses, He canceled the record of the charges against us & took it away by nailing it to the cross.

Having disarmed principalities (spiritual rulers) & powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.

Hebrews 2:14,15 Now since the children have flesh & blood, He too shared in their humanity, so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is, the devil & free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

And we mustn't forget:

Baal - The pagan god of materialism; the love of money and possessions. The Israelites began worshiping this false god one of the many times they turned their backs on Jehovah Yahweh.

Ishtar - The pagan goddess of sexual immorality and confusion of gender. The children of Israel included this goddess as a partner to Baal. Women became high priestesses and temple prostitutes and had power to conjure demonic spirits. Jezebel had them visit her palace often. Men dressed as women and women as men during certain times of worship, but the main form of worship of Ishtar was that of open sexually immoral acts.

Molech - The pagan god of child sacrifice. This idol was an enormous bronze statue filled with burning wood, coals and fuel and had long arms outstretched to receive the sacrifice of children which were placed upon his white-hot hands and burned alive while the parents worshiped with orgies. This was believed to bring prosperity to the parents of the child sacrificed.
When the early church began during the first century, many at Ephesus were turning away from these false gods and becoming followers of the Christian faith. This explains a good deal concerning the seemingly strict instructions from Paul regarding women's dress and manner as well as men's work habits and responsibilities.

I read a biblical study that said these three false gods usually come to power together and that they are actually three demons set up as gods by the enemy who has deceived people. I also read that after WW2, during the 1950's, America had an incredible boom in prosperity and that many became lovers of material wealth - possibly ushering in a time for Baal's power to operate. Then the sexual revolution during the '60's may have ushered in a time of Ishtar, and finally, the passing of abortion laws in the 1970's ushered in a time of Molech. I read that this is why we now have seen decades of corruption in many places like wall street and especially in our government. More than a few politicians go in having less than a million dollars to their name but come out as multi millionaires - sometimes as much as hundreds of millions made in personal wealth. And why our young people are having an epidemic of confusion as to whether one is a boy or a girl - people getting fired for saying "he" and "she". And finally - why our abortion laws got so out of control as to allow babies to be killed up to birth and even after being born - this was celebrated by lighting up the Freedom Tower in pink lights and unveiling a 50-foot replica of the Arch of Baal, which was also unveiled on Capital Hill during the hearings for Justice Kavanaugh. I researched and found this is absolutely true. It can be googled and found on several news outlets - about the abortion laws, the Freedom Tower celebration, and the Arch of Baal.

I don't want to believe that which I cannot deny I see.

Satan controls the world (1 John 5:19). All religions are inspired by Satan, who can appear as an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14). How do we know? We are in a war. (Ephesians 6:12) We also know that this war is spiritual, not natural. Therefore we use spiritual weapons. Satan created the world system in opposition and in competition with God. While mankind is entirely responsible before God, man has been blinded by Satan (2 Corinthians 2:4). If we really saw the world as God sees it, we would be much less swayed by its lies and deceptions. Satan is the god of this world. The world system includes commerce, finance, sport, manufacturing, education, science, religion and any human endeavour that leads people away from Christ and God's ways.

Christians are meant to be overcoming the world and imposing the Kingdom of God in its place. One day, that will happen. The question for each believer is whether or not you are working in the Kingdom of God or just going through the motions until Lord Jesus comes back. From what I can see, there are a lot of passengers and not so many carrying the load. That is not the case where Christians are persecuted. They are forced to decide one way or the other. There is no fence to sit on.

We have to live in the world. We do not have to be conformed to it. (Romans 12:2)

Satan is just as omniscient as God

satan is powerfull but he is not all powerfull or all knowing.
If he was omniscient he would have know that his rebellion would end in hell.
That lack of foresight shows the limit of his wisedom.

As for pagan gods rather than take what atheiosts say resarch from sites like coldcasrchristianity where the 'so called' parralism of pagan believes with Christianity are shown to be false or later after Christianity was established copying.
