If you think that my logic is reasonable, then why do you think that I was saying that Jesus lied?
Good question :)

P1: Jesus was born under the law.

Jesus claimed to be the Lord of the Sabbath (law).

Because of your stress on P1, then no one born under the law can make that claim.

For my FOL thinking, I would not stress P1 in my argument. P1 weakened the strength of your argument a great deal because Jesus was the only exception to that rule. This is a matter of weighting and stress. You don't want to rely on exceptions to prove your arguments.

Good question :)

Saying that stressing P1 means that no one can make that claim is saying that Galatians 4:4 contradicts Matthew 12:8. Moreover, you agreed that it is both true that Jesus was born under the law and that he told the truth about being Lord of the Sabbath, so you should also agree that stressing P1 does not mean that no one born under the law can make that claim.

Saying that stressing P1 means that no one can make that claim
Can you prove that (boldface) by first-order logic?

No, it does not mean that. This is a matter of weighing the evidence. Stressing is a relative term. You can stress more and you can stress less. In your case, you stress more. In my argument, I'd stress less because it does not help to prove my case. You need to think relativistically as you did in Was Noah's flood global?.

Galatians Chapter 4.
Thanks for the reference. This is how to do referencing in a scholarly manner:
  1. Display and indent the quoted verse.
  2. Bold the relevant keywords that are important to the point that you are making.
  3. Be concise and to the point.
This is what I do for others who read my posts. It is a standard high-school scholarship. If you practice this, I guarantee you: it will improve your analytical thinking. In any case, no one is required to do it.

I read bible, and Jesus referred to something in the scripture.

He didn't need to tell people where it was.

Imagine having to read all of the prophets if you missed the reference?

Sure, I am not against that. However, if you want to follow modern scholarship. This is how to do referencing in a scholarly manner:

Modern Scholarship, didn't Jesus diss the "Scribes" all the time though?

I mean, the passage starts at the beginning of Galatians 4.

The point is, if you don't understand the point I was saying, feel free to read the context.

Sure, I read the context. But I am slow. You can help me out by following modern scholarship. This is how to do referencing in a scholarly manner:

Be concise and to the point.

You just gotta crack a bible open to Galatians chapter 4.

Here is a decent online bible with bible dictionary. Bible Search and Study Tools - Blue Letter Bible

I've read your threads, you are not slow/unintelligent.

You just need to gather motivation and go look it up.
OK, let me try another angle :)

You wrote: People who are born again by the Holy Spirit have the same inheritance as Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:
20b when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Are you going to inherit the same?

You ignored the passage I referred to and posted another one. When people do that on this site, I tend to ignore what they're saying. Thanks for the discussion.

Right because I could not make sense of it. So I try another angle to try to make sense of it.

Try reading it some other time then.
I don't think that will help. On the other hand,

I doubt answering a question based on you disputing a scripture based on another scripture will help anyone.

Did Jesus break the Sabbath?
No, but He did engage in actions that He knew people would question.

He deliberately put a stumbling block in front of them to teach them they’re over stressing matters of the Law that were not intended to be such a heavy burden on the people.

I don’t personally believe that people have changed much, in that the people and the priests had nothing better to do than observe others and wait for them to do something that caught their attention.

Besides, He’s Lord of the Sabbath… (He can do whatever He wants)
