All over the news is that Ashton Kutcher filed for divorce from Demi Moore... Didn't that happen like, last year? Or am I out of it?

I don't follow that kind of stuff. I might see something like on the covers of tabloids if I go to the grocery store and am waiting in line to check out. My guess is about half of those stories aren't very reliable. I really doubt that every little thing Jennifer Anniston does is to get revenge at Angelina Jolie. She looses a little weight, and it's her 'revenge body.' Maybe the last Demi Moore story was false or exaggerated. I feel bad for these celebrities because this kind of stuff is under a microscope and people actually follow it and are interested in it. It's the negative side of fame, I guess. What's really bad is that acting is pretty low on the list of jobs that are essential or add much true benefit to mankind. But these people are so influential, and there are people who will actually be influenced in their religious, political, or lifestyle choices because some good-looking person who knows how to read a memorize in an entertaining way makes a statement or makes a certain choice.

Well, I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. Celebrities, through acting or singing what have you, do add some benefit to mankind. I've been inspired by celebrities and their stories, touched by a performance, or sought to explore something new because of what they do, did, or showed me.

I was just more curious about this because I feel like I knew they were getting divorced already and it's making me a little nuts.

I think due to Demi's break with reality - there was some questioning as to whether she could sign the paperwork and it be legal.

Ashton was very concerned about her health and mental state and she was in care for a long time. I seem to recall that even Bruce Willis (XH) was very concerned and that he'd helped advocate for her care.

I'd not really looked into it and I try to stay away from celebrity gossip and stalking via the paparazzi.

I mean - let's be honest... I'm a heck of a lot older than those guys she's dating - and in a dating context even I would go "Wow - maybe I should hold out for someone younger"

I know it sounds piggish to say - lol - but I do think that's ingrained into most guys.

I know it sounds piggish to say - lol - but I do think that's ingrained into most guys.

I honestly feel bad for her... Her career has been centered on being young and gorgeous. That's been her public identity from the beginning. I see her as not being able to let go of that because she doesn't know who she is otherwise. The fact she has teen/20-something daughters just makes it worse. I think she's just insecure.

I mean women not aging well, latching onto younger men, then acting like psychotic 20-year-olds when it ends. I don't see my generation of women as one that will age well or gracefully.

For some reason women think they need to keep trying to be youthful, both in looks and attitude, in order to remain attractive. Contrary to popular belief, aging gracefully and being your age can be very attractive and wonderful. Compare Jane Seymour to Joan Rivers: which one looks and acts more natural?

Also, Demi should have known hooking up with a guy like Ashton would lead to trouble. Seriously, did anyone not see this coming?
