I sure didn't 34 years old, single mom... I figured it was done for me, and all these happy stories about relationships and engagements and weddings were for everyone except me.

Well, I was never really too much of a forum person.Then I became friends with so many of you... CF is the first forum I ever joined.
So I never thought about the couples forum much aside from how depressing most of the threads seemed.

I think all the wonderfully romantic posts lately have proven that the couples forum can be a fun place to be too. It's so exciting.

I was dating someone when I joined CF like 7 years or more ago, so i sorta posted in this section- it was really active then! Then that relationship fell apart and I used to wish all the time that I could meet the right person. I didn't date much at all, but there just seemed to be no one right for me. Then I met mr. man and truly it was like everything clicked in the right places and that God just opened every door. It was just right from the beginning!!!!

Courting is just another word for dating isn't it?

If you look up articles on courting vs. dating, usually courting is viewed more as a period leading up to marriage. I've also viewed it personally as this. Some people view it a bit different, but I believe the more widely accepted version is that courtship is about marriage.
