There are always uncertianties associated with any numerical determination/ measurement. That is life. The number you refered to was probably thrown out because the uncertainty or "error" was exceedingly high... not because it was not "the date they were looking for." That is the way creationists work, so I guess it is not surprising that you would think we do it the same way.

I've been on 2 juries. I'll just quote the facts to the judge:

Non-reproducible single occurrences are of no significance to science.
Then let's use forensic science and the courtroom as our model.
There is a murder. This is a non-reproducible single occurrence. However, the courtroom does allow forensic evidence to be presented in order to reconstruct that non-reproducible single occurrence. Why? Because forensic evidence IS REPEATABLE. In fact, it is required to be repeatable. For example, any biological samples have to be made available to the defense so that they can run their own DNA fingerprint analysis.
So obviously, you have something seriously wrong with your understanding of how science works. You are confusing the experiment with the hypothesis. The results of EXPERIMENTS need to be repeatable, and it is the experiments that are used to reconstruct the non-reproducible single occurrence. The very fact that forensic evidence is allowed in a court of law falsifies your entire argument.

18 years marks the 2000 year anniversary of the Christian Church. Although I have heard that some people believe the church began when Jesus was born in 4 bc. That would have been the year 1996. I go by the first pentecost in the year 20ad. I go by the Friday April 13, 2029 date that we get from NASA. Also the Sunday April 13 2036 with the 1 in 45000 using standard dynamical models. So with odds of 1 in 45000 perhaps your justified in being a polyanna.
