hi Kelly, I appreciate you writing again here. I agree that blood sugar testing does provide a good incentive for being honest about your diet. I must admit that I haven't tested for a while now, but have been meaning to test again for a period of time to check where I am again with my sugar levels. To be honest I was putting it off because I've been a bit worried about it again.
Just lately I've been having some yummy salads - today for lunch it was prawn cocktail with salad, and for dinner it was tinned salmon with chopped hardboiled eggs & black pepper (which went really well) and salad. I'm not sure though if I need to be even stricter though - for example with certain veggies like tomatoes which I know some people avoid, or cutting out salad dressings.
Thanks for your encouraging advice about exercise. I guess it could help with motivation to measure sugar levels after exercise to see how much it reduces.
