I'm not sure exactly why I'm asking this, but one area I've always struggled with is getting relationships beyond the acquaintance stage. A lot of this is because I am naturally a very quiet and reserved person with very few interests that lend themselves to social interaction, so most of the time when I talk to people it's heavily task-focused. For the most part, I'm content with this situation but I fear it may be stunting my spiritual growth as my worship is becoming overly academic, and my gifts are only serving me. Are there any other naturally quiet people who have had success developing relationships that are not entirely focused around accomplishing a common task that might have some tools/insight?

In short no. Thats just how it is for us.

Haha, thanks for your honesty. Does it make you feel like an outsider when going to church or doing church related things? If so, how do you handle that feeling?
