Devastating Relapse

Hi there,
I haven't posted in a while because I have been in relapse. I am a binge eater, and the binges have been pretty bad, and I have become sick as a result. I have even purged, just once, but the temptation is there to do more. My weight has gone up and my self-esteem has plummetted to a new low.

I feel like a failure as a human being is concerned.

Hi Trish:

I wish I could give you a hug. I keep a prayer list. Tonight when I am at work sitting in a control room for 10-hours, I will go to our Heavenily Father in heart-felt prayer for you. Ususally when I am done praying, I am exhausted because I put every part of me into prayer.

Hang on and don't give up. Please keep fighting. You have been there for me in my relapse. Surrender your heartache to the Lord. Let Him take control. You are not a failur as a human being. I already know you have a heart of gold and you are extremely intelligent. If you remember, I relapsed not long ago. I am almost bald now. Your response to my cry made me re-evaluate everything. "Contemplative" is the word you used. Your words brought guidance that I needed. Your words gave me better understanding. Your words gave me hope. Your words put me back on the path of healing. Oh Trish. You are an Old Soul and definitely far from being a failure as a human being. On the contrary, you are incredibly gifted with intellect and compassion. You have inner beauty which the world needs more of these days. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for the light.

You are not a failure. You are a lovely person who helps others and is a precious child of God. Relapse isn't failure and you are not a failure. I am thinking of you and you are in my prayers.
