A small eastern brown snake held up play at the Brisbane International Tennis Championships today. It had previously been delayed due to storms.

We had one in the backyard a few years ago, probably about the same size.
The Brisbane Tennis Centre is quite close to the Brisbane River. There is lush vegetation along the riverbank, so I'd assume it travelled from there.
