Feelings: he was like my spiritual father
Memories: My mom transcribed some of his tapes in the summer of 1974. I was a teenager. At first I SLAMMED! my bedroom door. Then I left the door slightly ajar. Then I came out and ate breakfast while she listened. Finally, I told her I would shut the tape off when it was through (she left for work). I came to the Lord November 1974 through a Nicki Cruz crusade. I think the Lord used Derek Prince to till the soil of my heart -- and later helped me grow.

As for me, I first grab hold unto Derek Prince's teaching on deliverance ministry. Very insightful. I only desire that I would have a chance to work under him and learn from him.

I just wanted to say that I understand your fear. Sometimes we don't understand things or are uncomfortable and we need to respect that.

To All,
I found his teaching on positive confession of scripture very uplifting as I came from a home where the negative about self and others was highly emphasized. The Lord used him to help me to learn to "lift up my eyes until the hills" and to begin to understand faith, to understand scriptures and to mature in my Christian walk.
In fact, his logical, carefully thought out responses appealed greatly to my logical mind.
He walked in faith but it was not a prosperity gospel.
I thank GOD for his influence on my life!
