Hi all, lately my depression has been coming back and getting stronger each day.. along with that my anxiety is increasing which makes my mind constantly race again.. i dont know wat to do! im so scared and worried..

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Don't be discouraged!! I know it's hard when depression surfaces constantly, it is for me as well and it's hard. Very very hard.But you can get through this! With God, and with friends. If you ever need someone to talk to, PM me. I'm always willing to talk to people!
Just remember that in the end, God wants to see you joyful & happy, not depressed.
I'm praying for you as I type this! You aren't alone.

I'm so sorry honey. Do you try writing when you start feeling that the depression is closing in? Please Please don't let the devil tell you that you are all alone. You are not! You really do have friends and family that care. You have gifts that God has given you! If you aren't sure what they are or need encouragement that you do have gifts do an online search for spiritual gift quiz. Here are a couple of links to help you get started!
