Depression diary

Just telling how it's gone since the last time I posted. Still pretty depressed and still just not interested in the things I once did. Will get back to this another time.

I don't think my depression is caused by external or a sin in my life. I think it's a misfiring in my brain. Cos I should be happy. Evrything has gone good for me in life. IDK why I feel so much grief.

My depression has lifted just a litl. It comes in waves.

It does indeed sound like it could be chemical. Have you seen a doc?

Ya I see the doctor about once a month. I have never dealt with just depression befoe so it's kinda new to me but I would rather deal with it then anxiety.

Depression kicked back in and having pains on my side I'm a litl worried about that! Feel free to post your daily diary on here if you want.

I slept a ton today and feel a bit better now than I did. I am pretty sure it was all physical.

My depression has lifted just a litl. It comes in waves.

I'm like that myself. Some days are better than others, but generally I think I'm better than what I was about a year & half ago. I felt very down yesterday though. I believe I will be able to beat it completely in time without medication. It's just so hard dealing with those dark days. It feels as if I'm totally devoid of emotions, like I'm the walking dead. But we soldier on!

I hope I haven't depressed anyone? One day I will come on here filled with energy and passion.

Another day of depression. I feel like E-OR off of whinny the pooh. Life seems so black and white. No color in it what so ever.

For anybody who knows depression. You get a thought of something that interestes you. You get ready to do that then as fast as it came it leaves and then you feel empty inside and just want to go to bed.

Dabro, that happens to me quite often. I will make plans to go to the gym and really be motivated, but then all of a sudden I just want to stay in my bed and cry. I also started to paint again yesterday after going 8 years without painting. At first I was excited but then in the middle of painting I just started crying, so I put up all my supplies and laid in bed the rest of the day and night.

Hi dabro,
Are you able to do any therapy or take medicine to help you with the depression? There are some vitamins that I take when I notice my depression has kicked in a for a few days. Of course, we all have different needs and ways of dealing with the depression-- I was just wondering what you were able to do to care for yourself.

You paint? That is awesome! I am an artist too when I get up the energy. Mostly I just do computer art though, bringing out my watercolor paper and my pastels seems to take too much energy. I mostly do little throwaway pieces these days though, not much energy.

I like computer art because I don't really have to move from the keyboard to do it.

Well, I just started again. I did a lot of drawing and painting in high school, then I just got too busy after graduating. I haven't tried computer art, but I have been curious about it. It is hard finding energy or motivation to do anything these day. I thought art could be a way of escaping, but my mind even wanders while I paint. I couldn't even paint for an hour without breaking down crying. I feel like my mind is sabotaging me. I just can't get past this.

You those times where you get a feeling, or you have an experience, but you can't explain it in words to anyones else, and it's hard to process because you can't put it into words. Then some one explains it and say "ahh!", so simple and eloquent, why didn't you think of it before?

This was one of those moments for me! Thank you Dabro, you've put to words I feeling I've been having that didn't know how to describe.

I'm cycling back and forth from level to high to low. Low is major depression and thats what really bothers me. I know depression hurts ya'll. I have SZaffective disorder and it's just going back and forth.

This rollarcoaster is almost to MUCH for me to handle. I was level now I'm getting depressed again. What can make this stop. OH! I know. Christ can, as Paul would put it.
