DEPRESSION AND SUCIDE!!!!

I am new here, but I was set free just about 2 years ago. I will explain how.
After about a month of accepting Jesus as my LORD and SAVIOR, I went to a revival that God told me to go to. And I went and I was Healed.
I heard for the first time EVER that I was already healed. I was like, this makes no sense to me... But I kept hearing the word and faith grew inside of me. I head how Jesus healed us 2000 years ago by HIS stripes. That HE took our sins and sickness opon the cross. And passages in the bible where peoples faith made them whole. So I knew that, if their faith made them whole, then mine could as well. I was taught how the importance of confessing, so I started believing with my heart, and confessing with my mouth! I started thanking God for healing me!!! Praising God and thanking him for taking all my sins and sickness upon the cross, and by His Stripes, I AM HEALED!!! Saying, "I think you God that you did not give me a spirit of fear, but of love power and a SOUND MIND." "Thank you for Healing me" "Thank you Lord" "BY HIS STRIPES I AM EALED" I then felt the Power of GOD descend upon me, and the severe depression and thoughts of suicide leave. It litterally lifted right out of my body... I cried for probably 30 minutes, then I was filled with the wonder presence of GOD. I was totally healed. Freed!!! With a sound mind!!! and filled with a spirit of LOVE!!!
He can do the same for you, keeping hearing the word of God. Read Romans 10:17
If none has told you before, let me tell you. "You are Healed!!!" 1 Peter 2:24
He wishes above ALL THINGS that yoe be in good health and prosper.
I am free today, now for 2 years, with no symptoms to retern after I was healded and off meds, because whom the son sets free, is free indeed!

That is wonderful for you and I thank God for it! But, God does NOT heal "all" in this life. If this were true there would not be so many true believers dying each day. The disciples that walked with Jesus were not all healed. I believe it was Paul that had a thorn in his flesh. It kept him humble. (11Corinthians 12) Paul asked the Lord three times to remove it and the Lord said to him that.."My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness." When you tell people that it is "always" God's will to heal them, you place unwarranted guilt on them when they are not healed. It causes them to question their faith and their salvation. Those that suffer from mental and emotional disorders especially. I have a chemical imbalance and have had it all of my life. It is no different than one who has a heart defect. But, because our illness effects the mind many people tend to judge us incorrectly. In spite of my illness, I follow the Lord and lean on him for my very survival. Although I wish I did not have it, it does keep me very humble and compassionate towards others.

Woo InHim23 ! It's so good to hear stories of God's exploits and the appreciation people have for God because of it.

But it's true , God doesn't heal everyone like that and I used to wonder why not.
I struggled with my inability to recieve healing for my multitude of deep problems.
How many times did I literally shake my clenched fist at Him in frustration.
Feeling unworthy and unloved, a failure a spiritual leper so to speak.

But now I know that God has designed my life already and who am I to say that His way is the wrong way. It doesn't have to be like everyone elses.
There's a reason why we suffer and go through hardships, and it's ALL for the glory of God.

So now I see that when people get instant healing it's because that's how God wants it for that person. I don't compare any more.
Ha, how can you compare your relationship with God to someone else's relationship with God, that's just silly.
Each relationship is unique and extremely personel.
Look at Job or Paul, how much did they suffer? Was it pointless ?
Not in a million years, God loved them both so much that He allowed these things to happen to them
for specific reasons that , well, we really just can't comprehend.

So does that mean God loves people who are sick more?
I can't believe you are asking that question.
Sickness is used by God as a trial or a tribulation.
And every Christian who truely walks with God and lets Jesus be their LORD and saviour WILL suffer trials.
Some people have physical trials and some have others.
Hey you can ask for both if you like...showoff

But in closing Woohoo to God when He does set us free and heals us.
I just love watching Him in action , don't you .
