I know my problems might not be near as bad as alot of people's on here but im so sad now. My dog died last night and I had him for 15 years so now I feel this serious emptiness in my heart and I cant eat anything without throwing it up. Im just very sad and ask if someone would pray for me and my mom.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm very sorry to hear this. I currently struggle with depression and my dog who I've had since 7 years old is becoming old, and I fear the day I have to let him go. I have prayed for you that the Lord will take away your sadness and help you focus on blessings rather than what you have lost. Remember God is with us in all tribulation and will comfort us. Use your sadness as a chance to draw closer to the Lord and you will not regret it. I'm sorry this is your only reply in 6 days, you'd probably get more if you posted this in the prayer requests section. God bless
