Hello all,

I am to face the fact that in the forum, I don't know what denomination I should go toward since I am part of a united church of canada, which represent presbytarian, episcopal and methodist. its the 3 of them in 1 church.

where should i go?

I recommend that you go with the Methodist Church, since they're less formal than the CofE. At the same time they appear to be more outgoing than the Presbyterian Church.

C of E is the Church of England. The CofE is the mother church of the World wide Anglican Communion. At least here in the USA Episcopalian is Anglican but it is not part of the Anglican Communion.

How about a purely Scriptural assembly? There are some in many places in a worldwide fellowship which holds to the Word of God as our only authority for Christian faith --rather than various sects. I know of one in Montreal.

I go to a united church of canada. my question here was about which forums would suit better the belief of my church where i go to.

I probably would do a bunch of church sampling. Each manifestation of the Body has something unique to offer. The question is where you are fed more, and where you can learn to exercise and develop your ministry gifts. Of course, the big issue is where God wants you to go, but usually attending to the stewardship side of things will point the right way, though God can overrule our understanding.

I'm sorry, what does that mean? I don't know what is stewardship. I'm a French Canadian.

I didn't word it too well. What I meant was that if you go where you are fed and can develop your ministry gifts, that's usually the place God wants you to be. He can override that, according to His wisdom, though. That's why making decisions prayerfully is essential. Blessings.
