Here is a more precise test, not to ruin the fun or anything :p

http://www.selectsmart.com/FREE/select.php?client=christiandenom

According to this test here is how I rank
(note some of my positions have changed since I last tested)
1. Lutheran - ELCA
2. Lutheran - LCMS
3. Methodist/Wesleyan
4. Episcopal/Anglican
5. Mennonite
6. Orthodox Quakerism
7. Seventh-Day Adventist
8. Assemblies of God
9. Eastern Orthodox Church
10. Roman Catholic Church

There are another 15 results but you get the picture...
The first four were very predictable but Mennonite and Orthodox Quakerism and SDA threw me for a loop. I grew up Roman Catholic initially so I would say this test is very accurate :)

I couldn't get any results...I kept getting this message:

I was looking forward to seeing the results, too :(

My top 10 SelectSmart results:

My #1 is: Evangelical Lutheran Church
My #2 is: Methodist/Wesleyan Church
My #3 is: Presbyterian Church USA
My #4 is: Assemblies of God
My #5 is: Episcopal/Anglican Church
My #6 is: Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
My #7 is: Presbyterian Church in America/Orthodox Presbyterian Church
My #8 is: Reformed Baptist
My #9 is: Reformed Churches
My #10 is: Southern Baptist4

Assemblies of God is my church, though any of the top 5 might be reasonable for me... except that I ruled out PCUSA because of their support for gun control, which I adamantly oppose. LCMS wouldn't work because of their stance on closed communion and on women in ministry, both unacceptable to me.

Using that scale I was:

1. Episcopal/Anglican
2. Methodist Wesleyan
3. SDA
4. Assemblies of God
5. ELCA Lutheran
6. Free Will Baptist
7. Lutheran - Missouri Synod
8. Presbyterian USA
9. Church of Christ
10. Mennonite

That's pretty close. I think the SDA thing came up because I selected no preference for Sunday worship. The Free Will Baptist is kind of interesting...hmmm.

These were my top results:

1. Assemblies of God
2. Evangelical Lutheran Church
3. Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod
4. Methodist/Wesleyan Church
5. Seventh-Day Adventist

I have no idea where some of these came from. I'm most comfortable with a non-denominational label and I've attended most major denominations (Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic, and non-denominational churches). The Seventh-Day Adventist one is a little odd, though, since I've never even seen one of those churches.

Interesting test. Thought Pentecostal would be higher and I can't fathom where the SDA came from. Baffling.

Assemblies of God is a Pentecostal branch Pentecostal more so referrs to a whole collection of ideas instead of a single church.

I live literally in the back yard of an SDA church. :D

Actually, now that I think about it, there was a Korean SDA church on my route to work when I lived in Georgia. But there churches on pretty much every street corner in Augusta, so you stop noticing them after awhile. Every time I think of SDA, though, I think of the character of Lane Kim from Gilmore Girls and her wacky mom. :)

Wow, that 2nd test was pretty accurate...

1. Evangelical Lutheran
2. Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
3. Methodist/Wesleyan
4. Episcopal/Anglican
5. Eastern Orthodox
6. Roman Catholic

I was brought up RCC, drifted away from religion, and have recently begun going to (and loving it!) a Moravian church, which is pretty much like Lutheran, I'd say about halfway between ELCA and LCMS. (RCC still comes up high because I still believe in the transubstantiation; but Moravian is a non confessional church, so it's cool.)

That is interesting. Do you mean the bolded statement from a political and theological perspective? Because I have really been seeking a church that is more moderate. The Episcopalians are too liberal for me (although I am in luck, I live in one of the dioceses that recently split) but the LCMS/WELS are too conservative with me...and I perfer liturgy.

Unfortunately I think the only Moravian church in illinois is several hours away.

This is what I get:

 1. Liberal Quakerism
 2. Seventh-Day Adventist
 3. Unitarian Universalism
 4. Episcopal/Anglican Church
 5. Assemblies of God
 6. Mennonite Brethren
 7. Orthodox Quakerism
Liberal Quakerism is a lot higher than those in 2nd to 7th place, which are all around the same, then the reat tail off rapidly from Unity Church down to Roman Catholicism last.

There are a lot of denominations in the list, many of which I've never heard.

Guess I'll be reading about Quakerism and 7th Day Adventism!

As a matter of convenience I'd probably join the Methodist Church, but it's a really "low church" worship style, and I have a huge problem with the Eucharist only being distributed once a month. Theologically, I agree the most with the ECUSA, and I hope I'm able to join a community there. My new results:

My #1 is: Episcopal/Anglican Church
My #2 is: Evangelical Lutheran Church
My #3 is: Eastern Orthodox Church
My #4 is: Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
My #5 is: Methodist/Wesleyan Church
My #6 is: Presbyterian Church USA
My #7 is: Roman Catholic Church
My #8 is: Mennonite Brethren
My #9 is: Presbyterian Church in America
My #10 is: Reformed Churches

That's probably about where I'd fit in too, and I'd give a Moravian church a try if there were one handy. Though my church is Assemblies of God (which is mainstream Pentecostal with Methodist roots), my ideal doctrinal match would be moderate ("moderate" defined as being neither too liberal nor too conservative) charismatic Lutheran... of course, the charismatic part complicates matters, since though there are charismatic Lutheran churches, there aren't very many, making it even harder to find a moderate one.

I think you probably should check out both ELCA and LCMS, since individual congregations do vary, and there are less liberal ELCA churches and less conservative LCMS churches. The right one for you might be somewhere in there. For me, since I insist on open communion and the ordination of women, LCMS wouldn't work at all, so it'd have to be one of the more conservative ELCA churches.
