  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Most people are familiar with the "Shriners" and their funny tall maroon hats with long tassels. Some have seen them in clown outfits in parades, driving around in miniature cars (go-carts) in precision formation. Perhaps you heard of the Shriners Hospitals. But who really are the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine? What do they do besides the aforementioned? Why do they meet in "temples?" What goes on behind the closed doors of these Shriner temples? These are just a few questions that will be answered during this class. Additionally, you will learn:

  • What it takes to become a Shriner
  • Details contained in their secret ritual and initiation process
  • The difference between A.A.O.N.M.S. and A.E.A.O.N.M.S.
This class is taught from a biblical perspective; and is therefore ideal for Christians who want to learn about this Masonic Order so that they are equipped to witness to family members and friends who are involved in Freemasonry as a Shriner. However, we welcome Christians and non-Christians alike who are simply curious as to what this organization is really about. Finally, it is taught by a former 32 degree Mason, who was also once a practicing Noble of the Mystic Shrine. So please join us and learn from one who has firsthand experience with the tenets and teachings of the Shriners.

AMEN Great work brother, it pleases me very much to see this. Sometimes I honestly question my views against masonry and shriners, buts this kind of post reminds me I am not alone in my concern, blessings to you brother and your work, my prayers are with you.
