Possessed is s strong concept. It would mean that just about everything you do is controlled by the devil. Oppressed is far more likely. This might include strange thoughts of doing something sinful, demons giving you information about other events or people past or future that create fear and disturbance. (Careful here cause God can do that too. God's usually have peace and awe, the devil's do not.) Some spirits may manifest in groaning, creaking like someone is walking at night, eerie feelings, weird winds or gusts, etc. Regardless the cure is in the name of Jesus. If it is something personal fasting will help. In any event you do have authority over them. Here is a teaching I just found that looks decent in dealing wit this topic. Be sure your home has no demonic stuff. There are some things that seem innocent but if it is associated with other Gods, idols or religions, it may be harming the spiritual atmosphere. Declaring all are gone in the name of Jesus.

what makes you think so? Things can get pretty crazy in families and chaotic. But God is a God of order. Look to Him to restore peace in your house. It would take a lot of work to get rid of the devil. If you have thoughts of freedom it’s probably not possession. My flesh and mind is often working for the devil too. Yours is too. To be free is an ongoing battle. Rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus, take thoughts captive as in 1Cor 10:3-5 and being in prayer always. Might seem like a lot but you can live a normal life at the same time. Get all the major sins out of your life so God can bless you. Focus on obeying the Ten Commandments. Pray and ask God for other helps.

you may even seek your pastor for his insight and powerful prayers. Being a Christian is full on and full time and so is staying free. You will get the hang of it. Jesus Loves You.

Please help Lord God with our rowdy minds Lord and rebuke the devil from this persons life and restore order and peace again. I hope he or she knows how to be orderly in Christ and work with you. Give them the power. Help them to not be sinning against you and against their own bodies. Help this person to be in the fight and in the groove and you give the increase oh Lord. Bless them in Jesus Mighty Name.

As far as it depends on you, make sure the doors and windows to Satan's planes are closed.
1. BE careful what you watch and listen do
2. Be careful about the discussions you have

Declare a time of worship and praise focus in your home for a week or so.
Make every day "a worship day" other than whatever necessary things are needed for the day.
