The fact that drug addiction, mental illness, revenge & hatred exist does not mean that demons do not. I'm just saying that there are other factors at work, too.

I do not watch the news if my life depend on it. I hear too many horror stories that make me sad. This world is very sad. I heard from a lady at work how this lady killed her children and then put them in the washer and dryer. She asked me how could someone do that. All I could reply is those demons. What is your knowledge about demons and scripture? What is a good book about demonolgy? I experienced...a lot of encounters with spirits. Demons...too, Do you think that is the only reason people can be so sick?

This person that did this terrible thing does not have to be indwelt by demons (no one knows?), this person could just be evil. A person would have to be emersed in evil,....... and if a believer, in total reversionism, with black out of the soul.

The good thing about this, is that those children are in heaven with the Lord, "No more sorrow, no more pain, no more tears, no more death". They are EXCEEDINGLY happy and they will see their mother again, "IF" she is a believer.

Try this: Does Satan Have Access to Our Minds?

A good practical question. Satan can put thoughts in to your mind and can manipulate your emotions but he cannot read your mind nor does he know the future.

Im not saying for anyone to play the blame game. I'm saying that evil comes from Satan whether a person choose to do evil or not. Satan cant make me do anything..I'm responsible for my own actions. If I do decide to steal, cheat, or lie, or whatever...that is not of God. And I don't know how did you get that "everyone is under the influence of satan" by reading what I wrote. I do believe everyone is tempted by Satan or by the lust of the flesh, however you want to put it. What that lady did is pure evil and evil is of Satan. No matter how you want to put it.

God created Satan to be a powerful being...Satan is a fallen angel (that’s what people like to say) and hey, he plays the game fairly well. I have made decision that wasn't smart..and due to the circumstances was not pretty at all. I do know Gods grace was with me because I should have been dead. Whoever taught you this particular line of thinking did you a diservice. You couldn't be more wrong. There is absolutely no way any human could have done such a thing were they not 'indwelt by demons'!!! To the reader I post a warning: Do NOT buy this bill of goods! Remember God made us and He didn't make any of us evil. This post is an outright deception and a lie. In fact it's downright demonic in itself. God's word tells us of demons and demon possession and that's just the way it is. They do possess people and cause them to murder their children and that's in the bible too! believe it.

Yes, actually there's quite a lot but I'm not going to do your homework for you. God's word says we are not ignorant of Satan's devices. It's not something I can just throw down a couple of verses and there you have it. You could start at the gospels and after you get the volumes of knowledge therein, maybe work your way back to ol' King Saul in the OT who became possessed of a spirit of murder and tried to kill David with a spear, Nebuchadnezzar the schizophrenic king who thought he was god, or take a look at Zechariah 13:2 "And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land."

Look into the book of Acts, Ananias and Saphira, Simon the sorcerer... My point being there is a LOT in God's word on this and you are going to have to do some studying and research yourself to learn it. Furthermore, because they are spiritual things, God has to reveal some things to you.

That's a bit easier. Take a look at John 10:10 where God reveals the basic nature of the devil in one simple statement: "The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy..." i.e.: It's his nature; he can't help it.

We are all born into sin because of what Adam and Eve did. Their CHOICE. Satan didn't force them to eat the apple...they made the choice themselves after Satan talked to them. He can manipulate...but ultimately we choose to fall into it or not.

"Pigs in the Parlor" was one of the more promenant books on demonology. I have found an author Graham Powel to be more balanced though. Then there's a fiction book "This Present Darkness" which opens your world to the fact that there is another world out there, but greater are we who are with Jesus. And finally there is a book Victory over the Darkness by Neil Anderson.

Read them, but realize deliverance is a spoke in a wheel with the center of that spoke being Jesus.

I think the bible is written for us as a guide to live right. Some of the writing, words like demons don't necessarily mean demons as in actual beings. To me a demon is more like something in our life that we can't cope with. When we can cope with it, it goes away.

That's great that you found out, but I have to bring up one point: the devil was never my "friend". I never thought of him that way. He was like someone I knew very well but never liked, yet still knew well, and he used that against me. He treated me like dirt, and finally I refused to continue it!
