I just woke up from a dream. I was with a boyfriend (dont know him); he asked me to help fixing his car so i had to drive it and a demon took of the wheel until it made me crash my "boyfriend" until death. I went home crying and went to sleep but woke up by the demon that was turning off my lights and grabbing my legs ..so I went to my moms room and my dad was there (i dont have any communication with him in real life because he sexually abused me when I was a kid).he helped me and woke up, he rolled a joint for me to smoke and I said no. My mom started to fight with him and everything started to move so I started singing songs to God and praying until the light came on and I wasnt scared anymore; the demon left. My mom slept with me, I saw a bag full of my boyfriends clothes in my room which confirmed that whatever happened with the car was a lie; he wasnt dead. I woke up with this dream in my head. Cant shop thinking about it, is God trying to tell me something?

Many of us have had very memorable dreams, but it is not necessarily that God is saying something special to us outside of our own personal experience. In other words, it is most likely that our own mind is trying to perform a mental/psychological healing, something like an itching wound.

From my experience and Biblical knowledge, in a general sense, I don't see anything special here. It may be that the demon can represent a worry for you that God says don't worry about it, because He is in control of your life. The demon could also represent an internal battle, that you are trying to control something you can't control, like other people who are in close relationship with you. Fathers and mothers can often represent God as an authority figure (regardless of any sins they have committed).

When you turned to God in the dream, you felt secure, so whether it is God or your own subconscious mind, I think you are being told that God will take care of you, no matter what circumstances you are in. In my experience likewise, I only feel the security I need whenever I am actively walking with God in worship, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with Christians.

May God bless,
TD:)

Perhaps God is trying to point out some things He wants to work on in your life. These are a few questions to think about. Have you been worried you might never get married? Do you feel betrayed by family members (that didn't protect you)? Are there other burdens that you are carrying? Are there regrets you have about things you did? I just ask these as questions for you to ask yourself. I'm not asking you to reply here. :) On the whole, this dream seems a positive one: hopes for a boyfriend/husband are still alive, your mother protects you, drugs have no hold on you, the enemy cannot touch you now, moving closer to God has tangible effects.

Some of us have emotional and spiritual wounds that God wants to heal. Many of us had things happen when we were younger that hurt us deeply. If you were abused as a child, there still may some things God wants to heal in your life. I know a few women who had this happen. It was a burden that they carried for many years. It affected them deeply. Then God did some work in their life to heal them from it. One woman I know went to a Christian counselor for a year or so. A few others had a prayer partner (trained through transformationprayer.org) that helped them. Sometimes God uses people (perhaps a pastor, a Christian counselor, a prayer partner) in this healing process.

Anyway, this is my best guess about what to say. If it does not apply, please ignore what I said. :)

I am not sure if you were able to fix this situation but here are some points I can share based on my experience:

If you are having repetitive dreams it's becquse God is allowing you to see a problem. They tend to go away sometimes but usually come back if they are not dealt with.

Demons can only manifest themselves if they have permission/an open door. Sort of like Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, he could only get in her house with her permission.

Ask the Lord to reveal what is the cause of the dream, sometimes it can be something as simple as an object you bought that was cursed and you brought it into your house. It could also be a generational curse or an unrepented sin. Ask the Lord, He is faithful in showing you what is causing those dreams.

Exercise your authority as a child of God. Open your door and command whatever is causing the manifestation to go away in Jesus name.
