I'm reading this book called "He Came To Set The Captives Free" by Rebecca Brown MD. It's a true story about her and a woman (Elaine) from the satanic religion "The Brotherhood" and how Rebecca introduced her to Christ Jesus who saved her from this cult.
In this book, Elaine describes how satan punishes people. One of the paragraphs says:
"Another frequent method of discipline in demonically inflicted illness. Also accidents, loss of job, ect. Demonic illnesses usually are a favorite because few doctors can diagnose what is wrong and the person so afflicted dies a very painful and slow death while doctors think he is imagining the symptoms."
My boyfriends sister Scarlett is currently in the hospital. She's been sick for 14 months, and the doctors can't find anything wrong. In the last 4 months, she's dropped 60lbs for no reason. She has major migraines for no reason, can't eat, can't sleep, and is in a lot of pain that no pain medications can take away. She is literally whittling away to nothing. The doctors have started saying that it's all in her head. We know this isn't the case. Something in us tells us that something is seriously wrong.
Joe does a lot of witnessing to a lot of people from other religions, and I'm wondering if this is satan trying to get back at Joe by attacking his sister, whom he loves dearly. We don't know what to do to stop this, except pray, and, although we've been praying, it hasn't been specifically for that. Please join us in non-stop prayer for God to break the chains that satan has on Scarlett. She is tired and giving up. We are going to lose her if we don't do something about it. If anybody can possibly join us in prayer for her, please do so. This paragraph describes EXACTLY what is going on with her. ='( She has a 13 year old son who needs her, and she is pretty much the only family Joe has left. Please help us?
