Having been 'guilty' of posting many similar threads, I can only imagine OP was motivated by the same reasoning. Concerned about the false impression that there is a wave of child abuse being perpetrated by drag performers, he is helping to restore the balance by showing that these monsters are more concentrated among pastors, coaches, teachers, politicians and (sadly, but obviously) relatives. People in positions of power and trust. People that parents may lower their defenses around.

We know that when a 'zebra' event like a drag performer being an abuser arises, it will be a screaming headline in some media outlets. So it's useful to show the parade of 'horses' that goes on all the time without as much shouting.

Misguided fear and mistrust of the marginal "Other" is very human, but no less sinful.

The left touts their 'facts' that gay men are not pedo's. These charges go completely against that narrative - yet there is no open condemnation of the man. Not even from Mayor Pete.

You need to sharpen your language. Gay men can be pedos. No one on the left is saying they can't. There are lots of people who are in the dark pedos. Pastors can be pedos. Police can be pedos. Judges can be pedos.
There can be pedos so prevalent in organizations (<--that's plural) that they have no recourse but to come out with mission statements on how they plan to address their problem. So what you are doing is creating a narrative that doesn't exist in "These charges go completely against that narrative" to make a point that is just as bad as your claim.

I am glad he was denied bail. He deserves what punishment the state will give him.

Olson (D-District 3) said in a joint statement that Wojahn had committed a “reprehensible” act that was a “violation of public trust.”

There was condemnation right off from the local Dems.

I have never read or heard that gay men cannot be pedophiles, just that one is not a pedophile just because one is gay.
