Guns don't kill, people do. The morality of the people is the problem. All the laws on guns and you can't stop people from killing. If law biding citizens has no right to protect himself. Do you think it bothers a criminal that still owns an illegal gun. No!

I doubt Nickels will survive if he pushes this through. Many progressives are critical of his handeling the economic crisis (there have been numerous tent cities named "Nickelsvile" in his honor) and a good portion of liberals in Seattle are not fans of anti-gun laws.
