The healing and deliverance ministry contains many Bible-believing Christians who understand the demonic realm and what is involved with dealing with demons, “unclean spirits”. Then there are others who believe that Christians cannot have a demon, and then these people will not be able to help those who believe they are demonised.

Those God-anointed healing and deliverance ministries will show those Christians who are struggling with problems and sin the way that leads to deliverance and victory. The wonderful secret to it all is that, you don’t have to win the victory for yourself; you can enter into the victory that our Lord Jesus Christ, by His death and resurrection, has already won for you.

Our Lord Jesus Christ paid the full and final penalty for all the sins of all people of every age and of every race, on the Cross at Calvary. HE was the Lamb of God who carried away the sin of the world (see John 1:29), and by our Almighty God raising HIM from the dead, HE demonstrated to the universe HIS justice was fully and finally satisfied by the propitiation of our Lord Jesus Christ had made for our sins.

HIS sacrifice on our behalf is the one all-sufficient basis on which we claim a full release from every demonic force that Satan has directed against us. Once we realise this, and act in faith on it, we will be able to say, “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Cor. 15:57).

“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest’” (Matt. 9:36-37).

The healing and deliverance ministry is a “harvest field”, in which, many properly equipped workers are needed who can show and lead the many struggling Christians through their “Freedom in Christ” to deliverance and victory by working through a number of steps, such as by:

1. Personally affirming their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Humbling themself before our Lord Jesus Christ.

3. Confessing and repenting all known sins.

4. Forgiving and loving those who have wronged, hurt, offended, rejected, or abuses them.

5. Breaking away from, and renouncing all occultic, witchcraft, and false religions practices.

6. Being prepared to be release from every curse over their lives.

7. Taking their stand and submitting to our Lord Jesus Christ.

8. Casting out those dark forces that have been residing in their “house”.

These steps will bring those struggling Christians into a direct, personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, as our Saviour and Master. On the other hand, if you already have a personal relationship with HIM, then by going through these steps, I believe that it will strengthen your and give you a solid, scriptural basis on which to seek the help that you need from HIM.

We need to also have a good understanding of “blessings and curses”. Although it has been mentioned hundreds of times in the Bible, the contemporary Christian world has tended to focus on the “blessings”, and to regard the “curses” as a superstitious carryover from the “Middle Ages”. These beliefs are unscriptural and unrealistic.

Many have felt they have been curses, and feel a dark shadow over their lives, and shuts out God’s blessings. Two of such blessings that can be excluded by a curse are physical healing and deliverance from evil spirits.

Many healing and deliverance people have stated that many symptoms of people that they have dealt with indicate that a curse is at work in the person’s lives, such as”

1. Mental or emotional breakdown.

2. Repeated or chronic sicknesses, particularly those that are hereditary.

3. Pregnancy and related female problems, and barrenness.

4. Marriage breakdowns, continual divorces, and family alienation.

5. Continual financial problems.

6. Accident prone.

7. Family history of illegitimate children, suicides, unnatural or untimely deaths.

We know that the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross by which HE took on Himself every curse due to us, that we might inherit the blessings of Abraham, who was blessed by God in all things.
