I think so.a millennial neighbor living at home with mother has an abusive boyfriend
police have gone there many times, 2X in last mos alone
heard screaming this morn, so went out, walked by, & spoke to him; he said "mind my own business & go back to my house" & put garage door down
came home & heard screaming again
have seen him put his hands on her before
one time she was screaming "you made me bleed!" that time a neighbor called police/they took him away
should I have called police today?
I think staying out of it and simply calling the police is the best bet. Before you involve yourself make certain that you can defend yourself against the culprit. If he believes you can be another one of his victims, he won't hesitate to make you a participant. There are instances of the victim siding with the abuser against the person injecting themselves into the cycle.
I took my mace which fits in palm of hand
(just in case)
Protect yourself first but then call the cops every time. Have the neighbors call the cops every time. When he finally kills her the prior abuse will be well documented. Or maybe you may just save her life.a millennial neighbor living at home with mother has an abusive boyfriend; police have arrived many times, 2X in last mos alone

Take them both to small claims court and sue for the maximum damages. Last I checked it was $4,500 but it could vary by state or jurisdiction. You have a right to peace and quiet so that you can enjoy your property. It would be no different if they were playing loud music. Document when and how often the police have come out and this will be good evidence to support your suit. The police aren't dealing with the problem so you are resorting to the courts to seek redress. Whatever you do, do not get involved in a domestic dispute. That is what the police are for.a millennial neighbor living at home with mother has an abusive boyfriend; police have arrived many times, 2X in last mos alone
