deja vu ??

I think its a prophetic occurence if ur christian and if ur an unbeliever chances are its demonic.
I have them all the time, see things before they happen, know I was going to visit somewhere, know the outcome of situations, its just natural and a normal thing. I know when your into the occult it can become quite commonplace. As for past lives I learned through some experiences its not that you lived it previously its that any demonic things inhabiting you inhabited the character your visions coordinate with previously.

The deja vu thing is a little different than what you are describing Lottedah. What you are describing sounds more like visions and dreams type things, whereas deja vu is more of a instant come and go of a "feeling" that you have done this or been here before. The deja vu experience is that of feeling like an instant was the second time you went through an experience. What you are talking about is more of a spiritual thing.

I went in the other room and started praying big time. I felt as if someone was holding my hands!

I've had that happen before. Awesome isn't it?

I believe that as Christians we don't experience deja vu. That may be what the world views it as, but as children of God I believe these feelings are divine appointments. The spirit realm is so much bigger than us that our limited minds have to catch up sometimes. I am almost certain that these feelings of 'deja vu' are our spirits bearing witness that we are exactly where we are supposed to be!

I agree with Asaph - we're misunderstanding each other because we're talking about two completely different kinds of experiences here.

Deja vu is a very common and natural, (though puzzling), phenomenon, in which the brain appears to "trip over" new information, mistaking it for old.
It feels funny for a second or so, doesn't make sense, and goes away as fast as it came.
It is not at all spiritual and means nothing.

Some of you have perhaps not ever experienced this feeling, and therefore think we are refering to something else.
The experiences some of you have had do sound as if they could be spiritual in nature. I don't know what they are, but they are not classic deja vu.
