Atheist deny God and Agnostics do not know God.
Essentially they are the same.
Understand God can not be seen, tested or repeated to be seem as true.
Why do theist believe in God?
Well it comes down to a very profound word called faith. That is a belief in something you can see or touch feel.
Atheist or Agnos have no faith and the Theist has a faith in what?
Mollech? Buddha? Hinduism?
I have faith in Jesus Christ who said he was God. It takes a simple thing could believe.
This is faith it has nothign to do with a sign.
In reality there were almost no real deists, as modern self-described Deists like to think of themselves, during the so-called "Enlightenment", if by Deism you mean somebody that believes in a God that is indifferent to the world. What you will find a lot of, on the other hand, are people that are highly skeptical of church authority, religious doctrinal distinctives, and tales of the miraculous, but continue to believe in God. And most believed in a God that providentially ordered the world (through foreknowledge... remember this was an age highly influenced by Calvinism in the US and England), so he did not need to "intervene" per se. In some cases they might even consider themselves Christians, as Benjamin Franklin did. If these people lived today, we'ld call them "spiritual but not religious".
Then there are people like Payne, for instance... he was a real deist. Openly hostile to Christianity and highly anti-clerical. He was on the extreme end of the Enlightenment. In France after the revolution, a new church was started, all in touch with the spirit of the age and got rid of belief in the Christian God. But it was not very popular and decades later most French would look on it as one of the horrors they endured.
What does this have to do with deism? seems offtopic.
Sorry.
Deism is Atheism anyway, they worship the creation, not the creator.

Deists believe in a creator, atheists don't.
The question of deism is off topic. They are not Christians, this is a Christian site.
Deism worship Satan. They are the same as Scientology or any other brand of religion. They are not unique they are the same as the rest, false.

Thesite is called christian forum. So there for every single forum is Christian related.
Evidence for the almighty God?
He is supreme he offers none, ifyou are worthy he will tell you personally he exists.
Satan, evidence for him too? Go call on him, he will come to you. You might have a hard time spotting him if you do not know how...
I've learned that when Atheist demand proof they don't really want it.

I am very curious about deism. I call myself an agnostic atheist because:
agnostic - I don't believe the existence or nonexistence of god can be determined
atheist - I don't believe in the god of any religion
So my question about deism is not "why should I not be an atheist?" but "why should I not be agnostic?"
Why should I believe that the existence of a creator can be determined through reason?
And if I should believe that, how then do you attribute to god the characteristics that you do?
