The Lord Jesus Christ promised the Holy Spirit to lead the faithful into all truth.
Are you suggesting that only the men in your assembly are faithful?
I say that they are faithful, as for others who can say?
I know many faithful men too, I said it.
How's that different than what you know?
The saints to which I referred are fathers of the church. I do not know the men that you know so I cannot say anything of them.
The men I know are members of the body of Christ, they love the Lord Jesus Christ and speak of Him all the time.
Do you actually believe that the men in your assembly have exclusive rights to the body of Christ and His living and powerful word?
THAT is what I sincerely don't get.
How anyone can think like that, that they exclusively know the scriptures and that there are no other believers except the men in their own assembly?
I guess I'll pass. I don't think that this will ever be answered here.
I do not know the men that you do so you can speak of them while I cannot.
As doe holy scripture and holy tradition it is God who speak for these things; he speaks by his Spirit in the hearts and minds of the faithful.
And the last thing in the world that I would think is that the men in my assembly are somehow above the men in yours.
Where's that come from?
So who are the faithful in your mind? The men in the RCC alone?
You don't agree with the church fathers on all points, even when they were in universal agreement on matters. What's the present day teaching of the Catholic Church on head coverings, even though the Scripture is explicit and same with tradition, up until a little more than 50 years ago?I know that the church fathers are holy men, that is all I say.

The RCC, as with everyone, has realistically forfeited any claim to preserve all the early church's teachings. I can name more. I'm just starting with a simple one.
And how might you know this?
What standard for holiness do you apply here?
Whose head coverings?
Women's specifically (tradition speaks more of this than men not covering their heads...)
What's the tradition?
(1 Cor 11:2-5).Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you. But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ. Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying disgraces his head. But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying disgraces her head, for she is one and the same as the woman whose head is shaved.
The Early Church Fathers taught this, in accordance with Apostolic tradition:
Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you. (1 Cor 11:2-5).
Are you married? I am not a woman myself, so this passage seems to be addressed to somebody who is a woman. By the way, it is holy scripture, isn't it?
The one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church tells me and I believe her testimony about them.
