Heck, when we played D&D in high school our group consisted of a bunch of guys and me. We played at my mom's house, and enjoyed the games. It was fun to hang out and be doing something constructive, than driving around till curfew.

Ironically, long before I became a Christian, the two main players of the game with us were Mormons, and their parents thought D&D was a great way to keep their kids out of drinking and drugs, by hanging out at a friend's house on Saturday night.

A honestly cool thing is that locally here a new RPG store opened, and theirs a web cam in the store for parents to log on and check up on their kids playing D&D, Gurps or a the billion and one other RPG's that are out now.

And the concept of "Chaotic Evil" in a game was never created as a Character enless he was a DM's character there to create more problems in the game than solutions. He was always the guy that ended up getting us into the mess, and the main part of the adventure then disapearing. We had Chaotic good Characters, which were pretty cheeky in the game, but it made the game interesting. If everyone were a Paladian, the game would be boring, IMOHO.

This is my first post on Christian Forums, but I find Dungeons and Dragons to be a very fun game. After spending two months in it, I consider it perhaps one of the most rewarding things I have done in college so far. I am pretty sure pencil and paper role-playing games will stick with me for the rest of my life. I have been a Christian for over four years now.
