Wow, that wonderful, Marti! God sure has blessed you and IF as well. Praise His Name! And I understand the matter of - I think that 'frustration' is a good word for it actually - frustration we can have with our gifts He's blessed us with.

Like I'd become frustrated that I was not able to share with others until I got some help. First was from AllForJesus, a long way from me way over in Lebanon! She made a number of suggestions to me, encouraged me no end, then has been praying with us as to 'what' and 'where'. I think it was only yesterday she said something to the effect that we were getting close! And she was right. Hi AFJ - and thanks a million!

Then I came here to see the post Marty wrote straight form the Lord - in effect confirming to me what He wanted me to do! Whooo-hooo!!! And he and Invisible both encouraged me and made the final suggetions. And I don't feel frustrated any more! I will happily share here with whoever is around.

As I've said earlier, I love Jesus so much and I cannot help myself - I just HAVE to share Him with others!

And as I've seen many write here on CF, oh yes, 'God surely IS good!!!'

Blessings to everyone! Have a lovely Sunday! (ours has almost finished).

Hi Surviving! But do people post much in Stickies on CF? On other forums I've been on they don't.

To be honest, I don't know about other forums. I tend to think that a stickie is created to make something more prominant, or if it is something that is used alot, why not make it into a sticky so people don't have to search around too much. The forum that I am on the most doesn't have a problem.

Hey, I love the words on your Profile 'This is me...take it or leave it!' I'll tell ya what I think: Jesus took us AS WE WERE - and still takes us AS WE ARE (tho is always busy 'improving' us) so I reckon I'm with you! - here I am, for good or whatever, just as I am!!!

Thank you, this is quite encouraging. certainly another way of looking at it anyway. I didn't write it with this in mind, but I will certainly keep it in my mind now. Thanks.

Bless you this wonderful Sunday!

May God bless you too!

Thanks all for your love, fellowship and friendship. I wander back as often as I can. NO, I purpose to come back as often as I can. I need you all. God Bless your faithfulness to the thread.

Perserverance! That is the key. Lovely day today and I think I am going to go out and weed my flower bed and find some new flowers to add to. Have a wonderful week end and be blessed.

A few prayer requests?

Please pray for Al, having bone marrow transplant from his sister on May 8.

Charles is healing from lymphoma, please keep him in prayers.

For me, wisdom about the ministry I have been doing. I really need to hear from the Lord what to do. And about church....where does the Lord want me?

Thanks,

Patti

Hi Patti!

It's good to see you sticking your head in here every so often. I think about you often!

Lord I lift up Al and Charles to you for healing! Lord You are our great physician! I thank you for touching Al and Charles with your mighty healing hand!

Lord I also raise up Patti to you! Thank you for her ministry! I ask that You grant her wisdom according to Your promised gifts! Allow her to put aside the difficulties of this world to put Your Kingdom first! Thank You for showing us Your path!

In Jesus name!

:amen:

Time to do some spring cleaning! Patti when you talked about weeding your flower bed and planting new plants, it reminded me that we occasionally need to examine ourselves to see if there are any 'weeds' in our lives that need to be pulled! We want to make sure that our flower beds are not being choked out. We need to make sure we are cultivating the right things in our lives!

Thank You Lord for Your mighty restoration power!

It's always about God! when He want to show Himslef to us He use many ways to open our eyes on the suject!

I am so gald that we can share about jesus more and hear others!!

God is btween us now!:clap::amen:

Hey AFJ!!!

Yep, it is indeed about our precious and mighty God! And He brings together those He wants to be. THEN we can bless him and love Him and praise Him - together!

Personally I don't believe we do even half enough of that!!!

But I don't think we can do this easily with lots and lots and lots of people. Which, to me, is why we truly need to know those who He wants us with! Then as a smallish band - if I can put it that way - we can be joined by Him and kind of 'moulded' together into what can be a real powerhouse of His grace and demonstration of the Holy Spirit's power in our lives - then out from our lives to those who are needy or hurting!! *end of mini-sermon, lol*

Bless ya, gal. You've been such an encouragement to me!

I agree! I've seen God's mighty hand moving people in and out of my life like a well played chess game. Each person there right when I need them, or I'm there when they need me to show them Christ's love. My small groups have changed over the years, but it's always just perfect - even when we think at the beginning that we are so different! I love how the Father puts all of us different pieces together to form a beautiful puzzle picture of His grace, love, and mercy! Praising Him !!!

Hello, everyone :)

Another new thread! :)

Hi, Bondman! I'm glad you chose this thread.....I did think this would be the best one.

I have a prayer request.....we have a car which is 16 years old now, has been round the clock, runs very well, engine-wise, but is increasingly needing patch up type work done on it. Hoses need replacing and cost a lot cos of the awkward place they're positioned in.....the radiator springs a leak.....stuff like that. My husband says we should get a new car and I agree, though I do love our car. But I have to be sensible as it's cost us a lot in the last year or so to keep on the road.

I ask for prayer that God guide us as we look at cars and so on, as to us it's a very big thing to buy a car. We'd ideally like to get a lateish model car with not too many kms on the clock. Please pray that as we ponder and look around, that God will give us much discernment, especially when we meet with salesmen.

Thanks, everyone.....I guess it's obvious I feel quite nervous about it all. Thank you all and God bless!

Hey, JS! Yep, I'm here. I've told Marty that I 'blame' him for that - and the Holy Spirit (in about equal amounts) *grin*

Next year our wonderful ole car will turn 30 and still goin' strong! But then our health means that we don't get to use it much. Like about 2,000 km a year, haha!

Lord, guide the family in their purchase so as to be wise and responsible with the money you've blessed them with. Help JS to relax in You, cos You know the beginning from the ending, and our faith and trust in You I believe is what blesses You most of all!

(Now no looking at fancy Mercedes or anything like that, okay - or we'll all get envious and you know that God doesn't like envy!) *chuckles* :)

Love from us both!

I reckon that encouragement is one of the major things we do while we're Loving One Another as Jesus commanded us. And your post encouraged me, Surviving, thankyou!!!

:D Well, the proof is always in the puddin' Bondsman, looking forward to it! God bless you in your day and always in His way.

Hi there Abigale! "The proof is always in the puddin'" - that sounds a lil like a bit of a 'challenge'! If you were meaning sharing then I'm prepared to have a go in the sharing stakes - reckon I could win too! Cos I been lurking round here for quite a while, yes, LURKING! *love that word* and I'm not sure you guys are up for it, lol! One (weak) Aussie 'gainst the rest of the world???
*strolls off nonchalantly whistling a happy tune*

Lurking is an alltime passion around here it seems, lol. Not a challenge just an observation. While this thread talks about each other others are actually out there trying to help others. It will be interesting to see some of your ministering simply because it's still a mystery to so many.
You against the rest of the world? I see you now have a persecution problem with the men now too.

I'm beginning to see that you're as a bit of a stirrer, Abigale! (course I could be wrong!) lol  (That's fine, cos so am I actually...)

Ahh, NOW I get it, it's the ministering bit. Fair enough. *takes deep breath* Okay, here's a bit of a rundown. I posted in other parts of CF from Day One when I came here nearly 2 months ago. I've been in non-Christians, evolution, prayer requests, Christian help, and many more places I can't remember. Some of this quite heavy stuff. One young guy has already become a Christian through my ministry here, and I'm now discipling him via pm. I'm regularly working with a total of three young guys here actually (via pm) - we relate every few days and I help with where they're up to.

That's my commitment. I am here to be 'used up' by the Lord in service to others. That's it in a nutshell. If you read my (brand new!) Blogs HERE you'll see a little of the why and how of this guy 'Bondman'... *hehe* I also work with 4 others per email and msn who I picked up on previous forums the Lord took me to. I have a daily prayer commitment to some others - and will always add another to this if the Lord says to. So I do have a fair 'workload' of full-time ministry, 7 days a week every week of the year.

One of the reasons I'm now here in DF and not in other places on CF is because CF people are so good! An unbeliever asks a question and before you can say 'atheist' about 10 Christians have given him or her some great and different answers. I eventually came to feel that all I was doing was adding quite unnecessary posts.

At the moment I'm just 'letting off a bit of steam' here, enjoying myself, because I have a sense of humour that's a bit hard to 'keep in check'! *broad grin* But you can trust me that it's all part of how God is leading me.

I came to CF direct from Religion on MySpace where I was 'ministering', i.e., speaking the truth about God, the Bible, Jesus' sacrifice, heaven and hell, and more, to piles of strong and agressive atheists and other unbelievers. While I was there, considerably less than a handful of Christians were able to 'handle' all these guys - a tough ask I can tell you! But because of my experience and knowledge (and age, shhh!!) I got on well with them, and simply loved it!

That's enough... (And I'm still lurking!!!)

Bless ya heaps, A!
