I saw an antique bathtub in a valley and inside was a horse laying on its side. It's legs had been cut off at the body. The head was near the neck but was obviously cut off. Strangely, the animal still breathed and the eyes were still blinking.
Here's what comes immediately to mind.
"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; 8
we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death works in us, but life in you." (2 Corinthians 4:7-12, NASB)
The imagery, in my opinion, suggests persecution against the church -- which can never be killed. The horse cannot help but keep breathing, because it comes from God, even though ten thousand were to rise up against it --- yet it will prevail. This also brings to mind yet one more passage.
And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal
this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:17-19, NASB)
PS. The word that Jesus used for Peter (Petros, small stone) and rock (Petra, large rock) and not in fact the same Greek word. When Jesus said, "upon this rock I will build My church", it is the confession of Christ that is the "rock" (Petra, large rock).
In short, I believe this dream is about persecution, spiritual warfare, and about the prevailing church.
Christians, please pray. There is no time like now to be prevailing and petitioning our Father for lost souls.
