• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I just noticed the new sticky.

It looks like the powers that be made this into a "debate forum".

I have never complained about anyone ...

But I don't "do" debate.

I can not see any which way that it is edifying. I think it is vain ... and always draws the immature.

But I would like to fellowship with people who can actually understand dispensational method of interpretation ... so that I may learn and grow.

Is there any place inside this "Christian Forums" site ... ?

Or is it time to move along?

I will assume the latter ... the sticky always rules.

Anyhow if any of you have a favourite "fellowship" non-debate forum could you let me know?

I think if you PM me here in CF the system will send me an email to pick up the message.

Anyway ... keep fishin'

And Godspeed.

I wish there was a better place where calmer discussions could take place, instead of seeing continuous postings of the same type. I avoid most of them.
I don't know whether the mads will ever get a separate room from the nomads.

I think it is a good thing to do, as this is being used for your side to troll, only, and not to discuss, from Scripture, contradictions of your views.

[And would you please answer my question to you about tongues and marraige?]

This forum has always been open to everyone - to both dispensationalists and non-dispensationalists. So the sticky is nothing new, its just clarifying what's always been the policy. Dispensationalism forum has always been in the theology section, not the congregation section.

A forum is what the participants make of it. It doesn't matter what its labeled (as long as its close to the topic). Personally, I'd also like to get to know the regular participants here better. We could collectively contribute more "fellowship" threads that encourage sharing and participation.
